If I were in charge of developing the next Mario Party, I would trash the Wi-Fi option. It's not Mario Party in that case. Already thinking about it makes me want to forget about it. Three best friends(or worst enemies) on the same couch and we're ready to party.

Why wouldn't it be a real Mario Party if there was WIFI? The whole point of the game is to have fun with friends. I think it would be really fun to have the ability to play with people anywhere. Although I think Nintendo should rework its servers so we can get the best possible gameplay. I agree with the 10 turn party games. Otherwise things could get hectic with accidental disconnections.
Mario Party is one of those games that doesn't need wifi. If it does it should be limited in some ways.
they COULD add a saving function with friends play so u can plan with them wen to start again so they could add more turns, and mayb they could count victories, losses, poweroffs and legal disconnections, well...if thats even possible tho.

I think Mario Party 9 Should have wifi because:
1.You can see Worldwide Records Online.
2.You can Challenge People to a 15-Turn Party it can be...2-vs-2 or 8-Player or simply 4-Player
3.You can Register FC's with other Friends if you wanna face a buddy.
4.I heard about the WiiSpeak so I think we can have Voice Chat.
5.If you wanna quit just wait for YOUR turn to begin pause the game and Select "Forfeit" Any disconnecters Just setting off their wii at the Wrong time Get a 24-Hour Ban from MP9 Wifi so they won't try to Set their Wii off
7.We can also use Free Play to vote for the Minigames.(Minigame with the most votes gets chosen)
8.If any players Forfeit the game The Character Will become a CPU set on "Hard"

Maybe there can be online tournaments for more online fun you know but not like in MKWii that you just di certain stuff like mission mode more like versing people for the highest rank and reach for the top.

They'd have to be committed to doing that. And what happens if people can't come? Then the whole tourney is dropped... That's why if Mario Party had wifi, it'd NEED to be just basic. Cuz things like this would be confusing...Mario. said:

I don't think this game would work out on wifi, I'd be pretty messy.
