I've pre-ordered Smash Bros. 3DS only. I'm planning to get Smash Bros. Wii U for Christmas. Will receive Smash Bros. 3DS a few days after release, though.
Actually now that I mention it I might not receive it until Saturday since its being delivered to my house directly. Depends if shipping is speedy enough.
I always pre-order games like this. I have it ready for store pick-up when the game is released.
I actually did have a pre-order for this game at a Gamestop, but I couldn't wait so I went to a Walmart midnight launch instead and played the game all night.
