When did you First Play Mario Party?

I first became interested in Mario Party a couple years back as I found a random video showing the different boards in Mario Party 8.  It looked fun so I bought it from Toys R Us (because I had a gift card there.)  I had fun playing it and as I got older I got the other Mario Parties!  The videos that started it all:

Mario Party 4 in 2005.
I've played all the Mario Parties except for Advance and the original Mario Party.

I first played mario party in 2007 at my cousins house. I played mario party 7. I had I great time playing it but before that I had no clue mario party existed. Since then I played mario party1,2,3 ,4, 5, 6 and 9.

First Mario Party I played was the first one back in like...1998/1999 I believe. Can't remember exactly when.

I have played Mario Party like around the age of five. Can't remember. It was definitely Mario Party 2 though. I enjoyed every minute I played it.

Mine dates back to July 2007. I got Mario Party 8 but I didn't have my Nintendo Wii console at the time because it was on lay-by. Until December 21 of the same year, that's when I started playing the Mario Party series for the first time.

I can't really remember but I think it was MP5 and 7 because those were the only MP's I owned a few years ago.

In 2011, Mario Party 8 was the first one I played.

The first game I played was Mario Party 9, unaware of the game hosted in the game shop was Mario Party 9!
I think that was either one year or two years ago. I don't know exactly anymore.
We played the bob-omb factory, but also some minigames, because somehow I remember the bob-omb board but the Lakitu boss... just for 20 minutes though because we had to stand there, and... I sucked completely. I fell from the Lakitu platform where these blocks appear for about 5 times... lol!

Then I played Mario Party 8 and 9 in July, with 4 players in my living room. It was so fun I decided to do the Solo mode of MP9 as often as required to get a 100% save file. Still so many stars to buy... let's see when I finish that

I forgot when I first played Mario Party, but I remember it was MP 1, 2 or 3. Ugh... It was so many years ago.
