No they did not. You can bash the game all you want, but no, the music is entirely different.Wacky109 said:

The bad thing from MP7 was the story. It wasn't that good really. :-\
The Bowser map was the worst out of all the Bowser themed maps in Mario Party. The special orbs seem to put some characters at a more advantage then others, like I would find myself using Toad alot because of the Triple Mushroom Orb. Bowser Time got annoying, with it being every 5 turns. Mario Party 7 overall was good, but not as good as Mario Party 6

I didn't like the Bowser Time, how there were just mini-games for Bowser and DK(I also would've liked a DK bonus event; where you don't have to play mini-games or whatever to get a reward) they took out Koopa Kid 
and some of the orbs were downgraded like the zap orb or the warp pipe(which was stupid as a roadblock). The special orbs were ok, I liked using Yoshi's egg orb to get rid character spaces where there's a whole bunch of them or avoid being affected by roadblocks. I didn't like this one as much as the previous GCN mario parties.
