The Sims 4 isn't worth all the pennies, it doesn't have the most content (at least without any custom content or packs), but as a standalone game, it does not suck at all. I haven't had much experience with past Sims game, but this one is a good first experience to be sincerely honest.
The last Devil May Cry (DmC, the reboot) doesn't suck and it's actually fun to play through. I know most people prefer the original series and they have every right to think that.

Fortune Street is actually a pretty good game.
