It gets intense with the awesome music and the rapidly increasing speed. This is motion control at its finest, as for weird winning patterns, one character always seems to have their eyes closed when they win.
Yeah, I know your feel, it can be quite difficult to catch up back after. At least you're already lucky to reach the max speed, I hardly have the chance usually. That's how it is when you're getting almost everything on your way, that's like completely impossible to don't finish last!
