Yes, just like Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games.

Well, really, it's only Mario characters that should party, and no one else. Tails would be nice to try for once, though.
No, just no.
Nope! Seeing SEGA characters in a Mario game would be weird! :S

Uhh this is "Mario Party" not any other characters joining. It will just be weird.
If Mario Party 9 had Sonic Characters in it, then it would be called Mario and Sonic Party!
Yeah, but still I doubt it'll ever happen. Of course maybe just party with all kinds of characters, but that's it. Otherwise, it's just never going to happen. The Wosser said:
Well, not in something like Mario Party 9, or something in the Mario Party series, but maybe in something like a Mario & Sonic Party or something.
Definitely no for Mario Party 9, Sonic characters just don't deserve being in a party game IMO.
Like The Wosser said before, it will be called Mario and Sonic Party!

I have an Idea! Instead of Mario Party 9, the new name shall be "Mario and Sonic at the Party Games"

No.
Maybe just Sonic. Especially if he's really in SMG2.

Sonic is 99.99999999999% not going to be in SMG2. If that was the case, then SEGA would have to agree to the patent agreements as well. They haven't signed on with Nintendo, so having Sonic in now would be impossible.
What is up with the water here? Sonic isn't comin to town. -_-
Sonic isn't good for anything in any Nintendo game. I'm still freaked out he was available in Brawl. *shutters*
This isn't Mario & Sonic Party!
No, b.c. that ruins the MP image, and also provides no linkages to the Mario Universe. As MLYW says, Sega would have to sign patents and stuff; but like that's ever going to happen with a party gam. Maybe in Japan, but not worldwide.
They could be cool unlockables! Thats what I think WOULD be cool. Conisdering my name, most of you could have known that. ^-^
Yea but there's no realistic chance it'll happen so there's no use getting pumped up for nothing.Sonicdude said:
The closest you can get is if you can play as Mii and you make a Sonic Mii. Nothing more!
