The "Catch": Gooper Blooper sits in the middle platform and can make platforms sink into the water.

How to Get the Star: Get to the top of the board, get from DK for free.
The "Catch": It is a one-way path to the top, based on the arcade game Donkey Kong.

How to Get the Star: Invest in beanstalks, the more money invested in a beanstalk, the more Stars that can be harvested from it.
The "Catch": The beanstalks replace the windmills and hotels from past games.

How to Get the Star: Pay the babies 10 coins to see what's inside the baby buggy; could be a Star, 20 coins, 10 coins, a Bob-Omb, or a Ztar.

The "Catch": The 3 characters sell the Cup O' Tea Orb for a price that depends on how close they are to Toadsworth; the closer, the more expensive.

Here is two board map ideas I have been thinking about for a while. I have not really thought every single detail of the map like the ? spaces yet, so bear with me.
The Koopa Bank
Named after the space from the past Mario Parties, the map takes place at a bank owned by Koopa Troopas.
How to get the stars: all four players have a bank account in which they can deposit and withdraw coins from. For every 20 coins a player has in their account they are rewarded with a star by the bank. (Ex. if Yoshi has 65 coins in his account, he has 3 stars, but if he withdraws 10 coins, he loses a star.) Players can deposit coins by meeting with the bank teller after doing a lap around the board, also they can do it by landing on a ? space where a ATM is. Players can get help from Hacker Guys (Shy Guys who hack computers) to hack their opponet's account to transfer some coins to their account.
The Mushroom Market
A map that takes place at a large supermarket. While playing on this map Players are outfited with a shopping basket (you know the little basket you hold in your hand at the store)
The objective of this map to get the star is that there is a Toad at the exit of the store who requests the need for a certain item (EX. milk or a loaf of bread) on his shopping list. the players must go to the location of the store where the item is, once they have it, they must go to the cashier and pay for it and then take it to the the toad. The Toad will give the player a star for his effort. After that the Toad will request another item. Egads Science lab: Sorta like garage from Mp6 but new strange inventions. Like the Coin multiplyer, you hit the dice 5, 10, 20, 25 it takes the amount you get goes in to the machine and multiplys then gives it back Then the Orb/candy mixer it sucks up everybodys orbs or candys then mixes and swaps then around. Then the memory porter it takes back to the space you were recently on. The star is just space. The special space (there two in every board) takes you to secret place like Mp8. Its a special teleporter that takes you to the roof you go around the roof then down the elevator back to the start .
King Boos haunted Mansion: Its a really big mansion that has three floors. The ? spaces make the floors switch around. The others red boos come and take at the max half of your coins you gotta tap a button fast to keep as much coins no to leave you as possible. The special space makes fall down a trap door to the basement you go around fetch some coins then a tube suck u up to the space you were on. The star is at the top then red boos float you down to the start. Only in the mansion board, a pass by place where a big red boo gets takes coins and stars from other players but u gotta pay.
Crazy Terrains: Its a board that you go through four terrains around the board you start of in a forest, then a snowy place you could picture it in your mind, desert and then a seaside resort beach. One of the ? spaces a tree falls down and you get flattened and loose 10 coins. The icey terrain there are two ? spaces that you go down these ice paths, two crazy curvy paths theres coins on each then it takes you to the start of the next terrain. On of the ? spaces a pokey pummel comes from the sand and then you through a dart to determine who he will pop up and steal a fast ten coins. The seaside one the ? space: A Dolphin pops up and gives you a ride around the ocean a bit and u jump with the dolphin to get u coins in the air.

Kritters Construction site: Its a floating construction site in water. A ? space if you land on it it breaks and you go down a level it gets repaired the next turn. The other ? u go to Pengu's scuba diving try not to get by sharks or gooper bloopers try get get some coins it gets a little harder then u get the chest that holds 30 coins. The star, u gotta pay the Kritter 15 coins to snatch a chest with his crane there is three kritters around the board the chest could Contain 30 coins, Bomb omb or a Star, bomb omb blow u back to the start. The special space u go in a sub. into a underwater cavern.
Goombas neighborhood: You go around the blocks and try to buy certain houses with a star, 2 stars or a 3 star house. There are 3 one star houses, two 2 star houses and theres one three star house. Its the last house on the board before you go around again. Try to buy out other players coin inventory for whatever house. The ? space, bandit comes out of some random house and steals coins from a random house and gives the coins to u and gives u better chance of getting the house. The special space takes u to a secret block.
Baby Park: You go around the park and go on a variety of rides. This board gives every body five stars. So you can go around and go to mini circus tents that chain chomps are in. There are four, three normal ones and one special red chain chomp. The other u pay 10 for one di and 20 for two di. Special Chain chomp allows u to pay 10 coins for 3 di. One of the ? spaces gets all players in bumper cars every body gets five coins then each time u bump in to each other u get one of there coins. Then u do that invincible flash for about 3 seconds when u get hit. The other two ? spaces roller coaster chase to a random space then u get out of the way. Each time u go on it the part where u get off changes to another random place. The special space get on a roller coaster with a shy guy along for the ride. Then it takes u to a secret under ground cavern. When your done the roller coaster takes u back where got on.
Bowsers Ancient Volcano: Your inside a volcano u go on chunks of floating lava rock paths then you jump to the next. Eventually u will go up and around the inside of the volcano. The ? spaces in the volcano doesnt mater how far u are up the volcano erupts but theres only three ? spaces in the mountain then u go back to the start. once u reach the top u go down the out side of the volcano back to the start. Theres two ? spaces on the outside. You go down mini rock slides not to the bottom only three levels down you go zig zag down one side of the volcano and that has ten levels before you reach the start. There are three tiny side caves that has four spaces inside so that you can avoid the eruption. The star is located by spaces. The special space can only be found at the bottom. A tube will come out of the lava u jump in then it will take u out of the volcano. Then you around a little bit of the forest that is surrounding the volcano.

I want to see a board that features the Chain Chomps from Mario Party 6 and Mario Party 7 that steal stars. A waterfall level has always been something I've wanted.
I'd like to see a few boards return. Not half an half like Mario Kart, but something more like 6 new boards and 3 returning. If they give us one returning board, I'll be happy.

The chain-chomp idea seems great... Snowflake Lake and Pyramid Park are my favourite boards. And I agree with the 3 returning and 6 new.

He is probably thinking of Pirate Land from MP5 with the big waterfall.
Remakes of old stages may not be a bad idea.

A board based off the Maple Treeway track from Mario Kart Wii would be pretty cool. I loved that track. Keep the same music if you want, I wouldn't mind. It could be a linear board like Pagoda Peak from MP7, but I'd rather see them do a classic styled board with no end point and branching (get it? ) pathways.

Honestly I've always wanted to host a MP on this site, I just never got around to it. I'll probably make some boards, not sure if I'll use them
Hmmm....I would want a new forest-themed maze board.
Also Luigi's Mansion could be a cool board.
