Mario Party: Island Tour News Updates

SOOOO EXXXXXCITED! GO BOO! Oh, and I see, yes, they have recycled from Mario Party 9. XD

More news has come in.

In short:

- includes StreetPass mini-games that let players compete against ghost data of real people
- pick up that data by StreetPassing others
- choose from different difficulties
- compete in a mini-game tower
- unlock a variety of collectables, including voices, music, and character illustrations
- these are purchased using Mario Party Points earned throughout the game
- Shy Guy's Shuffle City involves players using playing cards to try to strategically make their way to the goal

Which means Mario Party Points from Mario Party DS are back, and now we have the official name for the "Grasslands" board.

EDIT: This shouldn't be any surprise, but it is ND Cube that is developing Mario Party: Island Tour.

We are a month away from release and we still do not have an official trailer from Nintendo. This worries me. The general lack of news is pretty off putting as well.

Therefore I'm willing to bet Nintendo is planning a huge media blowout once more to promote all three games to try to steal back the thunder away from Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Well hopefully it would be during the upcomming weeks because of how the game is supposed to be out by then. But then there's still hope and time, by hoping it won't be deceiving.

Yeah, even if it's a Mario Party game that we usually mostly cherish and love, I know some things can be quite hard for some, I'm already not convinced to take it Day 1, so that's quite something. I'm waiting to see things which are more accurated actually.

It's an okay trailer though the document turning into bubbles was a little weird.

Plus the trailer didn't show anything spectacular other than the story mode with a few new mini-games, and I was fishing to see DK in his own board or something.
