why on earth would they wait until the very end of the 3DS' life?

i dont know that for certain but nintendo did wait until the end of the wiis life to release mario party 9 so its making me wonder are they going to do the same with the 3ds, wait until the very end to release mp3ds i hope not.

Idea is nice.
But why the heck is this game should be the last game of 3DS? Just because they did it with MP9, that doesn't mean it will be done with this.
On the other note, can I use 'heck' in this forum, Mods? XD

This will not be the case at all. Sure Mario Party 9 was released near the end of Wii's lifespan, but that doesn't mean it will continue the tradition for future Mario Parties. Europe may have gotten Mario Party 3 as the last Nintendo 64 game in that region, but it doesn't mean it will happen again.

Waiting until the very end of its life will not be good for business and sales.

I have to agree with VIP here, you're already discussing the next 2 Mario Party games and the 9th one hasn't even been released yet. Can you at least give the 9th one a chance before you go all out on #10 and the 3DS one...

MPDS wasn't a t the end of the DS' lifespan, nor the Mario Party Advance game. Maybe MP9 just had a ton of work in it that it took long to make.
