Mario Party 9: Story/Plot

Mario visits an abandoned amusement park, and he decides to restore the amusement park by playing Mario Party! However, you have to do story mode first before any other mode. You can start playing as Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Wario, Daisy, Waluigi, Toad, Toadette, Birdo (may not be in Mario Party 9), or Hammer Bro!
 
i think that bowser has created a death sun (based on death star) and is about to shoot a beam that will destroy the different party boards, and with the power of the stars, mario & co. will be able to stop him!

ALSO: each board has different ways to win and you must verse 1 other player. also, the unlockable characters are playable from the start in story mode and beating story mode with that character unlocks him/her/it.
 
New Idea!
It's the 1000th anniversary of the most major city of the Mushroom Kingdom, Mushroom City. The mail Toads mail everyone in the Mushroom Kingdom to come downtown to have the party of the millenium. Everyone including Bowser was mailed, so the mail toad set it on the door step of Bowser's Castle, but Bowser is busy watching the Mushroom City through a telescope. He yells angrily and storms out of the castle without noticing the letter. He begins a big plan.
At the night of the anniversary, the Millenium Star passes by once again and with Tumble. But then Bowser goes and drains the Millenium Star's power to power himself up with star power. With Story mode, you need to get to Bowser's Castle. Now, there's a problem, the Mario Party characters all want to be the one's to save the day. So you go through 6 different boards all around the Mushroom Kingdom gathering star power to restore the Millenium Star and have your character powerful enough to take on Bowser. Then, in Easy, Normal and Hard levels you get through 6 boards and then Bowser's Board. Once you win on the board, you battle Bowser in one final battle with him. When you win, the Millenium Star drains back all of the stolen power and leaves Bowser with no power at all. Now, after you go through Hard mode in the Story part of the game, you unlock Very Hard. In very hard in Story, you go through the same thing, but once you beat the Bowser Board, you don't battle Bowser yet. He flies off outer space to a Rainbow themed board. Beat it and then you fight Bowser, and when you win, you win the Rainbow themed board to be used in Party Mode, and then you unlock Minigame Tournament in Minigame Mode where all playable characters participate in a tournament. For example, if you were playing it in 1 vs 1 option with a total of 16 characters, the winners advance to round two with 8 characters left, round three with 4 characters left, and final round with 2. You can choose whether or not you would want to watch the CPU minigames. Wow, that's a mouthful
 
It should be about Wizpig taking over the Mushroom Kingdom and abolishing partying rights! As a Mii character, your objective in Single-Player mode is to confront Wizpig and restore freedom to the Mushroom Kingdom once and for all!

The story starts with a robotic messenger visiting Bowser's Castle who announces that an anti-partying law is in effect. That's when Bowser complains "That's one of the lousiest laws I've heard of! GAAAAARGH!!!"

However, Wizpig challenges the Mii hero (that's you) to a series of solo-play boards such as Mario's Rainbow Castle and Peach's Birthday Cake.

You must travel to six of these boards before you can finally confront and overthrow Wizpig.
 
Revised version:

One day, in the Mushroom Kingdom, everything was peaceful. But that day wasn't so peaceful in outer space. Near the Mushroom Planet, Bowser had created a Death Sun, and it will shoot a beam that will destroy the different party boards. After Bowser destroyed Wario's Battle Canyon from long ago, everyone found out about this. Then, they decided to party on the different boards to see who would be strong enough to verse Bowser. First, they went to Isle Delfino's Ricco Harbor. Then, back at Brooklyn's DK's Construction Site. Then, at Toadsworth's Tea Transporting Train. Next, at Mario Kart's Baby Park, and Fly Guy's Skytop Climb. There, they went to Koopaling Kastle, which had a secret passage to Bowser's Castle. There, they took a cannon to Good Egg Galaxy, where the winner at the Galaxy was taken by the Comet Observatory to Bowser's Death Sun, where the final party against Bowser was launched.

^^That story is only for Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Wario, Daisy, Waluigi, Toad, Toadette, Birdo, Baby Mario, and Baby Luigi.

One day, near the Mushroom Planet, Bowser created a Death Sun. He shot a beam powerful enough to destroy a retro party board, Wario's Battle Canyon. After he found out that Mario and his friends found out, he sent his minions after him. First, they partied against each other to see who was strongest. Then, they went to the party boards in this order: Good Egg Galaxy, Bowser's Castle, Koopaling Kastle, Fly Guy's Skytop Climb, Baby Park, Toadsworth's Tea Transporting Train, DK's Construction Site, Ricco Harbor. After reaching the end, Bowser soon realized how fun it was to party. So, he got rid of his Death Sun and started partying with Mario & Co.

^^ That story is only for Boo, Dry Bones, Blooper, Hammer Bro., Wiggler, Magikoopa, Monty Mole, and Koopa Kid.

It starts at space. There is a new shuttle built, and it's just for Mario, Sonic, their party crews, and Miis! Rosalina is the host. In the story, Bowser and Eggman appear on the shuttle! They took away one of the shuttle's most important item, the 8 grand stars! Now the character you want to play will have to go through 8 planets! These planets are the Grass Planet, the Water Planet, the Ice Planet, the Sky Planet, the Fire Planet, the Desert Planet, and the Urban Planet, and the Bowser Planet/Eggman Planet (depending on who are you playing as)! The mission is like 1 VS 1 mode, and each planet has a boss! You choose a difficulty level, from E-- to B++!

GP: Jet the Hawk
WP: Eggman's First Machine
IP: Ice Bully
SP: 4 Lakitus
FP: Eggman's 2nd machine
DP: 2 Giant Kleptos
UP: E-123 Omega
BP: Bowser and Dry Bowser
EP: Eggman's Final Machine

After all 8 bosses are defeated, the shuttle is recovered and every mode is available to play.

i like the story mode idea, but i dont like how you have to play story mode first. i think it would be better if you were allowed to play on every mode right from the beginning (unless you get to buy minigames).
 
Okay this is my idea.
It uses Composer Koopa from the Floret Boos Blazing Winter Entry (go to the Blazing Winter Activities page contest 2 vote).

The hosts from previous games, and some of Mario's friends and former enemies pitch in to create some awesome places for the friends to party.
They invite Mario and all of his friends; plus a couple new ones. Bowser isn't invited, (again) but that's not important this time. While the party was going on, something happened. The Koopalings (Larry, Iggy, Roy, Lemmy, Morton, Ludwig, Wendy, Bowser Jr.)  took over the party boards and have some "friends" to help  fight their battles. Of course, everyone blames Bowser for this occurrence; but he is not the one to blame. Unknown to Mario, Composer Koopa, a Koopa literally covered in instruments, has used his magical instruments to brainwash both the Koopalings, and the new bosses of the levels. Mario and his friends now must fight through all the levels, and defeat all the koopalings and level bosses.

 
Ok,I'll try to make this simple:

Mario was taking a walk through Peach's Castle,then,BOOM!!!!!!! Mario runs to the throne room. Bowser captured Peach! He flies off to his castle,leaving you and Luigi. Bowser's airship drops Bowser Jr. off at a castle. He takes peach to his castle. You must go through party boards to get to Peach. When you beat someone at a party board,you can choose to be them for a party board. When you get to Bowser Jr.,you have to beat HIM at a party board,along with a magikoopa,koopa kid,and a blooper. They join your team,but of course Bowser Jr. doesn't. When you get to Bowser,you have to beat HIM,Bowser Jr.,a hammer bro.,and a buzzy beetle. After you beat him,he flies off somewhere else. After that,you unlock free mode! You can do the story again in free mode,but you can be anyone in the game! That includes Bowser and Bowser Jr.! And I'm not done yet.
You get Easy free mode,Medium,and Hard. Every level is a bit more harder than the one before it. Ludwig Von is the the short one with dark blue hair,Morton Jr. is the black one with barely any hair,Iggy is the tall,crazy looking one,Wendy is the angry female,Lemmy is the kid that is cross-eyed,Roy is the one with sunglasses,and Larry is the one with light blue hair. Kamek is a magikoopa and Dry Bowser is the living skeleton of Bowser.  [Note:Kamek and Dry Bowser are NOT on the picture]

If you want to have an avatar like other members, go into your profile, then go into the Modify Profile section on top and hit the second option on the pop-up menu, Forum Profile. There the first thing you will see is the avatar area.
 
Bowser is playing one of his stupid jokes when he rips you off with this camera thing, when a bullet bill
hits mario and his friends. Bowser is surprised to see a GIANT mole in a weird cannon thing that flies. bowser gets mad and starts to attack but the mole hits him, so Bowser wants to kill him. Not only because it hurt him, but it was terrorizing mario instead of him! so he joins forces with mario to try to use the power of the stars to destroy him. but they find out it is not enough to destroy him. they see a little star slot in his machine, and it is colorful. they find out they have to go to 5 mario party boards before they could destroy it. after that, the mole runs away only to come back with a BIGGER machine. you have to fight him in one last board to obtain the DARK star. when that happens, you blow up the mole. At the end, bowser takes his machine and starts to chase them around in a circle. THE END
