If there's a Mario Party I would really enjoy, it would be the Mario Party 6, even if I don't have it... That's because the musics are awesome and the maps are really interesting. ( I sure like them all... just a little thing more for Mario Party 6... because most of them is a tie, nut I mostly prefer the newest ones.) And Mario Party 9 seems so cool!
They have many cheap gamecube games at game stop's in racks. And last time i went they had like three copies of mp6 for like 15 bucks, maybe 20! but they had like every mario party from the gamecube.! incase you ever wanted to get them, also ebay's where to go to get the n64 ones...haha!

I like them all but here's how I rank them.

  1. Mario Party 3          10/10
  2. Mario Party 9            9.5/10
  3. Mario Party 7            9.3/10
  4. Mario Party 6            9/10
  5. Mario Party 4            8.5/10
  6. Mario Party                8/10
  7. Mario Party 2            7.8/10
  8. Mario Party 8            7.2/10
  9. Mario Party 5            7/10
10. Mario Party DS          6/10
11. Mario Party Advance  5/10

I really like Mario Party 3! It has a great Story Mode, fun minigames, great boards, and great music! I also like Daisy's look in MP3. I'm probably one of the few people who actually likes Daisy's N64 look over her current one lol.

Mario Party 9 has some really fun minigames. I like all of it's new features, like the car, and Perspective Mode. Another plus is that Koopa is playable. =J

I like how Mario Party 7 has partners and special items. I also like it's minigames, 8 player mode, and the fact that I can play as Dry Bones. =J

The other Mario Party's are good too but I don't feel like explaining why lol. xD

I would like to know what's with all the hate for Mario Party Advance. It's definitely different from the console games, but after watching videos recently, it seems pretty interesting. It's interesting that it's ranked last or near last on everyone's list.

Anyway:
N64 era: MP3(board maps were well design and the many items introduced were very unique and really added to the game. The minigames in this game are probably my favorite of the entire series.)

Gamecube era: MP6(really enjoyed the Day and Night System and I was bored of the tradition way of collecting Stars, so I'm glad each board  played differently and it worked for me. Of the Gamecube Mario Parties, I prefer the minigames here, but MP5 and MP 7 were amazing as well.)

Wii era: MP9(not saying much since MP8 is by far the worst MP game I've played. Like most said, the minigames here are a huge step up from the previous games. I can understand completely why people dislike the board maps, but I personally enjoyed most of them. Nothing wrong with that. =P)

As I own only four of the games (that could change this week  :)) I would have to say that...

1. 2 because when I saw this on the wii store I was hyped to play it. And I did! I bought it twice, one for my wii and one for my nan and granddads! To date I have played about 8 or 9 games of it. (I would have played more but someone burgled us and broke our rare telly )

2. 8 because it was my first MP! So why didn't I get a Gamecube then? Cause I was chilling out on my PS1 and my 2 PS2s :) But anyways, the game was highly impressive and deserves more than it gets today.

3. 4 because It was the last MP game until 8. 5,6,7 to me look... Suckish. Anyway, the minigames were quite good but there should have been more. As there was only about 63. Even MP 2 has more!

4. 5 because I saw this and I thought... Wow. Super Duel Mode looks epic! And of course I was wrong. At first I couldn't work out what the **** orbs did. At second I was screaming at the TV because this was not a MP game. It looked like a spin off like Sonic Shuffle or MP 9.

So you know what they say. The classics will ALWAYS be better, until they beat it.

10.Mario Party 4: It wasn't bad but the boards were boring and the AI seemed especially retarded in this game and the mini games were hit or miss.
9.Mario Party 1: The boards were fun and the different items you have were good but the mini games were either okay, boring, or painful but the game felt more balanced than the other ones.
8.Mario Party 6: The mini games could be very enjoyable but the concept was more gimmicky than anything and the boards were good but its just average all around.
7.Mario Party 3: The game was great for the time with battle royals and duel boards with extremely good mini games but I thought most of the boards were boring.
6.Mario Party 7: I thought this game was a bit underrated and I like the a lot of the mini games and the 8 player concept. The boards are the real reason I like this game better than 3.
5.Mario Party 9: This game provided the facelift that the series needed and had amazing mini games I didn't like how the bomb-omb boss was more luck than skill. Also the concept wasn't flawed but I really like the original concept better honestly.
4.Mario Party 2: Most people have this or 4 as their favorites but I personally like this game much better but I think the final 3 are even better. However the boards and most of the mini games were fantastic except for most of the battle mini games but it really seems more of an update than anything else. A major update, yes, but still an update.
3.Mario Party DS: This game was so much better than the dissapointment that was advanced which unsurprisingly didn't make the list. However this game seems to have some of the original feel of the games but has much more balanced mini games other than 2 exceptions. It also has figurine that actually give you some reason play the story mode again. The main thing I didn't like was the boards got a little repetive after awhile but that's about it.
2.Mario Party 8: This seems to be the most hated other than advanced but honestly I like the game a lot even with its shortcomings. The graphics are underpowered but the art style is good, the mini games were fun except for flip the chimp, and the  best part by far is the boats each having a different concept I particularly like the King Boo's Board. As for online play there would constantly be quit games or AI replacements because a lot of people don't have thirty minutes (more likely more than that with map viewing descion making ect.) to play one board and some people could hack it for the perfect number they need every turn. In short this is the most underrated of the series.
1.Mario Party 5. While some may be surprised at this point sheet were you expecting advanced (which is a horrible concept for any game) or island tour (which I haven't played yet but honestly doubt would make number 1) This game has a great concept, great boards, and great mini games. The orbs were a nice diversion and there is not a single mini game I have other than the luck based mini games which are in every Mario Party.
