Dec 31 - Wrap-Up

Arctic has finally come to a close and to thank everyone for their efforts and participation, here is a little video I threw together highlighting all the activities of the event. Enjoy!

I would also like to get some feedback on Arctic Activities. Answer these questions and you will receive 5G! They don't have to be long (they can if you want), but I would like to know your thoughts to better improve any future events.

1. What was your favorite aspect about Arctic Activities?
2. What was your least favorite aspect about Arctic Activities?
3. Do you feel like Arctic Activities lacked anything?
4. Favorite activity?
5. Least favorite activity?
6. What can be done to improve Arctic Activities?

As for the achievement points, they will be added to your account as soon as the remaining four activities have concluded (MPI/MPFS, MP Duels, Secret Page, and Channel Chasers).

Thanks to everyone who helped make Arctic Activities a success and thanks to all those that participated! We hope you enjoyed it!!

For the video, how did Topper1 help the other members who are all staff members put up Arctic Activities?

My answers:

1. My favorite aspect about Arctic Activities were participating in games and figuring out puzzles and questions.
2. My least favorite aspect about Arctic Activities were that some were late and activities that mostly had to do with artwork.
3. I felt Arctic Activities lacked competitors for some activities when it was artwork-related.
4. My favorite activity was the Secret Page. It was very challenging.
5. My least favorite activity was the MPI activity. While it was indeed fun, it could have been better if Wolf/Dark Boo updated it more, but they procrastinated. It's almost been a whole month since it started.
6. What can be done to improve is to get the activities set up by each day. It was procrastinated by having late activities being pushed into later days.

1.My favorite aspect about Arctic Activities were the different games and puzzles we needed to complete.
2.My least favorite aspect about Artic Activities were the lack of persons in some games, you know, it´s cooler when you have more peoplec.
3.Like I said above, it lacked competitors.
4.The "Create a Winter Themed Mario Party Box Art" was my favorite activity.
5.I don´t have a least favorite activity.
6.I think the Arctic Activities could be improved if there wasn´t any delay in some activities.

I need to say that I liked a lot to participate in these games. Thanks to all the staff members (sorry for the short answers, I am travelling and the only computer I can use is not so good).

1. I liked the art portions of AA, even though mine failed because I used my 3DS for most of them.
2.Well, I can't really think of one.
3.Nope!
4.Secretpage-The one where the page was at Bowser's Bigger Blast.
5.The distorted images. But it's just my opinion and keep doing please.
6.Nothing I can tell.

(Sorry SZ, but I need to ghetto on this post lol :p)

VIP, me and Boo have had problems lately; I've been VERY VERY busy with other stuff, Boo's been busy AND his charger broke. So that's why stats can't be updated till he gets a replacement, which will come soon. We've said this on AIM constantly, but thank you for going out of your way to make it seem like me and Boo are lazy. Really, thanks a lot..

1. I love how the events were open to everyone, instead of being restricted to certain people. It really gives everyone something to do.
2. I guess lack of people? Not Staff/SZ's fault though. :p
3. It lacked people like I said.
4. Create a Winter-themed Board.
5. Can't really say.
6. More diversity in activities would be cool. =P

over time, as we get more members, this will become even more fun.

I will post my responses to the questions after my PC charger comes in the mail tomorrow or Friday, I want to say something!
I may get ghetto but don't mind me...

Okay VIP, your response to #5 question, here is my response

Wolf has been so damn busy that it's not even a joke, he has other games and it's not like he forgets about MPIFS on here for your information. My charger is broken for god's sake so it's not like I can post stats and if my OLD PC (THE ONE I AM ON WHICH THE SCREEN IS SO DARK IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE) had the format of the stats, I would post the stats b/c that would not stop be from doing so. I do not procrastinate Jesus, I procrastinate on the MPFS in the hideout LOL. You're making it sound like we aren't doing anything which I do admit the game is going at a slow pace. Doesn't mean that we don't care about it. Aussi dammit aussi, what is there to procrastinate about, I show the stats, Wolf show the board map! This does not take so long to do and most of the time we can't continue because someone made a mistake in making their go and we have to type it out and then point out their errors and then wait on them to post their corrections and then we might not be on there to update right away! How dare you say something that rude about us! Nous ne sommes pas parasseux merde!!! And if you don't like the way the game is running you can continue this game but not join another game since you say the game is moving at a slow pace and that the game has "f******" that doesn't even care about the game 90% of the time (Which is not true, we do care about the game aussi do you know how many errors we had to solve) When I get my charger I would be able to post the stats which I do do a good job at and I don't make a mistake and Wolf doesn't make a mistake. And usually MPI and MPFS gets done in like a 2 month span or a month and 1/2 and don't forget we have to deal with basic life issues (Which I tend to distant myself from 99% of the time b/c I am not getting a headache over dumb things). We will try to update on time whenever we have the chance and we are not disabandoning {sp check} the game. The game will be back on the road with the next turn too. Conclusively, that was kind of rude of you to say (You're just giving your cup of true tea) but Jesus

For the whole deal about this so-called 'procrastination', as far as I'm concerned I would rather have late activities that are quality products than activities on time but incredibly lacklustre. Rigidity is never an excuse for lack of appreciation.

Love Boo's block of text. Maybe put it in a podcast? :p jk

Also procrastination cannot be performed by an inanimate conglomerate like activities, only by people. :-/

Now that's done, time for my responses:

1. Diversity of the activities (from my perspective anyway)
2. Lack of people (same as Staryu's response)
3. ^ Also it may have been a little deficient in the creative, non artistic department, but that might just be me. :p
4. Since I was one of the few making activities, making the Secret Page (Legend of Zelda one) was quite fun, also MPI/FS and MPD were cool to watch/participate in.
5. None in particular but I would've preferred to see more participation in activities as I said before.
6. Activity, some more diversity, and I suppose punctuality always helps. Also some activities tend to bias towards veterans of MPL (Secret Page Contest -_-)
