Board Editor

What would a board editor be like in Mario Party?
I think that there would only be a few difficulties.
First, backrounds. There would have to be backrounds from other boards which would be a problem.
Next, happening spaces. How would there be unique happenings?

Backgrounds wouldn't be too bad, all you gotta do is have pre-made ones that need to be selected. The only difficulty that I would see is that it would be hard to implement the happening/event spaces.
