99 Stock/99:00 Time Battles

Have you ever done a 99 Stock/99:00 Time Battle before and lasted through it all?

I know for a fact I've lasted through a 99 Stock Battle before. Not too sure about a 99:00 Time Battle...I've done it before, just not sure if I ever lasted through it all.

Defs started about one of each. I have completed a 99 Stock, but I'm pretty sure I set it at 2.0x Damage Ratio and very likely >100% Handicap =P

I can't last 99 min, unless I use my custom stage that appears to be a copy of Final Destination...

Yes, I've done both times several times. 1 hour and 39 minutes may take a little long for matches, but it's fun in a way. In Coin Matches, I've done that for the Challenges to be done quickly. 99 Stock in teams is very fun, at least for me, in 2 vs. 2 matches.

Back to 99 minutes worth of a match, with Damage Ratio of 2.0, this is a very good way to rack up the K.O.s in all three games. Especially in Melee where you needed 5,000 K.O.s to unlock the Score Display and Celebi.

Yeah, high Damage Ratio mixed in with either Stock or Time at 99 is a good way to complete some of the tedious challenges.

I've done it before.

With stock, it was fun, but it just got boring after a while, like it was fun since some friends were battling, but there's like 99 lives... so it just got very boring towards the end. Same for time. =P

I've done 99 stock battles free-for-all before, but I've never done 99:00 time battles. I've only done 99 stock twice. I put no items, I was Yoshi and I put all the cpu's(all Yoshi) at level 9. No handicap,normal damage ratio and I selected Yoshi's Island. The first time I did this, I got last place because one of the other Yoshi's ate me and I turned into an egg and I was pressing buttons like crazy, then I accidently pressed the side of the analog stick,then I pressed B by mistake. The second time, I got first place! I actually made a comeback into first place! Although the annoying thing was the pity final smashes though.
Edit: It took 2 HOURS TO DO 1 MATCH!

Only once did I do the 99 minute time battle and that was with one of my friends. I couldn't believe I actually played through it all, but I haven't played for a while. That's probably why I haven't played it in awhile.

The longest i've ever played was a 30 min free-for-all which was terrible lol but I managed to pull through lol

I just did another one it was a team battle me and Young Link vs. Ganondorf and Zelda,. Zelda died first, the Young Link then Ganondorf, I had 4 lives left it was on PokeFloats
