Shogun Studios Toad Locations

Toad 1: See that heart over there by the entrance? Not a heart. It’s a Toad. Rescue him and he’ll give you tips on finding MAX HP Hearts when he returns to Toad Town.

Toad 2: On the main road of Shogun Studios before you hit the intersection, enter the last building to find a Toad disguised as a fan on the bookshelf in the back.

Toad 3: On the left side of the intersection is the Accessories Toad stuck behind a wooden shed. Yank him out and he’ll move his business over to the front of the Souvenir Shop.

Toad 4: Look at the lantern light to the right of the two Shy Guys guarding the outdoor door. Those are spots!

Toad 5: Pop open the umbrella in front of the Teahouse for a Toad surprise.

Toad 6: Head inside the Teahouse and look for a folded Toad on a cushion to the left side of the room.

Toad 7: The dog barking at Princess the Chain Chomp is just a Yellow Toad. Smack some sense into it!

Toad 8: Going left of the intersection, repair the hole in the door and walk inside to find a flower Toad in the right corner.

Toads 9-11: In the second building on the left, jump on the Shy Guy to quickly take it out. Whack the small drawer it was fumbling with to reveal three crinkled up Toads.

Toad 12: In the last building to the left, notice one of the cushions is flipped over. Smack it with your hammer to flip it and reveal a cat Toad.

Toad 13: Now take the north path of the intersection. The building on the right has a Toad hiding in the clothing hanging on the right wall.

Toad 14: At the Shuriken Dojo entrance, use the crates to reach the ninja star Toad in the target.

Toad 15: At the castle entrance, look at the sign on the right. It’s Toad face in all its glory.

Toads 16-19: From the castle, walk left and enter the first house you see. Hit all the lights in the room to reveal four different Toads who just can’t.

Toad 20: Inside the Dress-Up Photo Studio, help Toad down from the photo on the left.

Toad 21: There’s a room near the left side of the level with a Toad that needs to be pulled out of a jacket.

Toad 23: Using the wheelbarrow, get on top of the roof and walk around the corner where you can hop into the opening of the tower. Go down and save the Blue Toad from two folded Goombas!

Toad 24: Taking the right path from the castle, look for a dragonfly Toad.

Toad 25: Another dragonfly Toad, this time at the end of the same path!

Toad 26: On the building in the northeast section. Climb up the crates and hit the white lantern to reveal the Toad.

Toad 27: Hit the glowing lantern to reveal a magic circle. Use it to smack the other fake lantern. These dang Toads!

Toads 28-30: Inside the room on the bottom right, smack the sand to reveal three Toads.

Toads 31-34: Four Toads can be found in the staff area. One on the cabinets, one in the locker, one in the trash can, and one in the Goomba Mask.

Toads 35-38: In the house with three rooms, enter the right doors and whack all four crates to reveal four folded Toads.

Toad 39: In the house with three rooms, enter the middle room by entering through the crack in the wall of the right room and save the fish Toad in the middle.

Toad 40: In the house with three rooms, enter the left door and hit the hidden block under the flower, then use it to jump and knock the Toad down.

Toad 41: This Toad is crawling as a bug inside the dog house for Princess.

Toad 42: Go fishing! Look for the origami shaped fish and reel it in to find your Toad.

Toad 43: Now that you have the Shogun Studios Master Key, open the door behind the Ninji you traded the Straw for and fill in the hole on the left. This will open a door to a new Sensor Lab where you’ll find a Toad stuck in the machine.

Toad 44: Remember the Souvenir Shop at the start of the area? Head inside and use the Master Key to open the closet in the back. Climb up the steps and close the door behind you to reveal a Toad.

Toad 45: After you defeat Rubber Band, return to the tower and go up to the bell. Start smacking it while the nearby Toad counts the number of hits. Make it to 30 hits and a crumpled Toad will fall out. It’s actually possible to get this Toad the first time you get to the tower but you won’t have the Toad counting each hit or his funny comments!
