Picnic Road Woods Toad Locations
Below are all 58 Toads found in Picnic Road:
Toad 1: After filling in the large hole at the very entrance of Picnic Road, cross over the repaired land and whack the bush to reveal a folded Green Toad.
Toad 2: There’s a paper butterfly flying around the sloped area near the level entrance. Give it a whack to reveal a hidden Toad.
Toad 3: There’s a small hole in the wall nearby where you unraveled the purple butterfly Toad and the block accessed by the cave. Stand underneath it and hit the wall with your hammer to reveal a rolled up Toad.
Toad 4: There’s a ring of flowers near a lone tree. Whack the yellow flower in the center to reveal a Yellow Toad.
Toad 5: A Toad is cleverly hidden in front of the white fence. Whack the dark circle in the ground to reveal a rolled up Toad you can pull out.
Toads 6-9: The area overlooking the entrance can be accessed by breaking down the white fence behind the folded Shy Guy. This will take him out instantly and reveal a shocking scene. Rescue the three crinkled Toads in front of you, then attack the folded Shy Guy to save the fourth one!
Toad 10: Go behind the Earth Vellumental sign and whack it with your hammer to reveal a crumpled Toad.
Toad 11: There’s a swan Toad in the pond. Step on the used block on the right and hit the three consecutive hidden blocks to be able to reach the swan. Whack it to unfold it!
Toad 12: Check out the crumbled Toad south of the yellow Toad House.
Toad 13: Hidden as another butterfly, this time nearby the yellow Toad House.
Toads 14-16: Hit open the mailbox in front of the yellow Toad House to release three Toads folded into envelopes. Make sure to whack all three!
Toad 17: See the tree to the right of the yellow Toad House? Smack it with your hammer to release a crumpled Toad.
Toad 18: There’s a large hole overlooking the river. Repair it and the nearby butterfly Toad will float down to a level you can whack it at.
Toad 19: Yank out the Yellow Toad from the sand pit near the flagpole.
Toad 20: South of the flagpole is a group of flowers with an odd dark spot in the center. Hit this spot to reveal a flower Toad.
Toad 21: After repairing the hole south of the flagpole, hit the dark spot in the center of the flower to reveal a yellow butterfly Toad.
Toads 22-28: See the flagpole? Hit the empty square sections to the left of it to reveal a classic platform. Use it to jump to the top of the flagpole. This will release a firework along with seven Toads into the air.
Toad 29: After pulling down the flagpole, whack the actual flag portion while it is at the bottom to reveal a Toad with a surprisingly good amount of upper body strength.
Toad 30: Pass the barking dog and go on the higher ground to the right. After filling in the two holes, look for a dark circle. Whack it, then smack the bug Toad that crawls out.
Toad 31-34: After the hidden block and the normal block, look for a hole in the right wall. Whack it three times with your hammer to release three rolled up Toads. But it’s not over! Hit the wall several more times to get one last Toad out.
Toad 35: There’s a crumpled Toad in another tree, this time on the higher ground to the right.
Toad 36: Using the higher ground on the right side of the level, follow the path and drop down to get on the other side of the bushes. Here you’ll find five gopher holes and a single gopher Toad playing hard to get. You can use your hammer to remove the holes but they’ll quickly reappear after destroying the fourth hole. To combat this, leave the holes in the bottom left that are close together alone, then whack one of them and quickly whack the last one while you still have time.
Toad 37: That barking dog is, of course, another Toad. Give it a good whack to bring it back to normal.
Toad 38: As you reach the end of the stairs, hit the umbrella with your hammer to open it up. Climb back up the stairs and drop onto the umbrella to reach the crumpled Toad.
Toad 39: There’s a folded Toad on the table near the Save Block. Rescue this one and you’ll open up the Accessories Shop in Toad Town!
Toad 40: Go south of the Vellumental Temple and break through the cracked spike stone at the end of the path. Walk all the way to the right and fight off the Scared Rat to rescue the crumpled Toad.
Toads 41-50: To the right of the Vellumental Temple are tents you can reach by using the crate. Destroy the spike stone on the right to reveal a magic circle. Use your 1,000-Fold Arms to pull down the spike stone above and to release a grateful stack of ten Toads.
Toad 51: Go into the darkened indoor area behind the fortune shop. A crumbled Toad can now be found behind the window.
Toad 52: After defeating the Earth Vellumental, check out the new item shop to the right of the temple entrance. The last item is a folded mushroom disguised as a Toad. Give it a hit of the hammer to rescue it.
Toad 53-56: After defeating the Earth Vellumental, speak to the popcorn stall owner to the left of the temple entrance. Cough up 100 coins to pop popcorn only to have four Toads released and rescued instead. Too bad about the popcorn.
Toad #57: After you defeat Colored Pencils and remove the red streamer, go to the Sensor Lab and whack the sign from behind to find a crumpled Toad.
Toad 58: After you defeat Colored Pencils and remove the red streamer, go to the Sensor Lab and whack the head researcher back into shape.
Picnic Road Not-Bottomless Hole Locations
Below are all 17 Not-Bottomless Holes found in the Picnic Road:
Hole 1-2: Right from the entrance there is a hole on the left and a hole along the wall.
Holes 3-7: From the start, go just a bit down the path to reach an area with five more holes in clear view.
Holes 8-9: Two holes align the walls surrounding the small pond.
Holes 10-11: Look for these two holes in front of the yellow Toad House.
Hole 12: Can’t miss the large hole overlooking the river.
Hole 13: South of the flagpole is a large hole in dire need of fixing.
Hole 14-15: Two holes along the higher ledge on the right nearby the barking dog Toad.
Hole 16: Take the steps down the building and you’ll see a hole in the corner near the ropes.
Hole 17: The last hole is south of the Vellumental Temple on some steps.
Picnic Road Collectible Treasure Locations
Below are all three Collectible Treasures found in Picnic Road:
Collectible Treasure #22: After defeating the Earth Vellumental, check out the new item shop to the right of the temple entrance. Purchase the treasure for 2,200 coins.
Collectible Treasure #23: After defeating the Earth Vellumental, check out the new item shop to the right of the temple entrance. Purchase the first treasure, then purchase this second treasure for 3,800 coins.
Collectible Treasure #24: After you defeat Colored Pencils and remove the red streamer, go to the now accessible Sensor Lab and take the path on the right to find this treasure.
Picnic Road Block Locations
Below are all seven ? Blocks found in Picnic Road:
Block 1: Shortly after the entrance is a hole in need of filling on the right side. Patch it up to be able to reach the block! Features a 100-Coin.
Block 2: After rescuing the group of four Toads behind the white fence, enter the cave to reach the block holding a Fire Flower at the end.
Blocks 3-5: These three are hidden above the pond. As you try to reach the swan Toad, step on the used block on the right and hit the three consecutive hidden blocks. The last one has a 100-Coin.
Block 6: See that arrow made out of coins? Jump right where the arrow was pointing to reveal the block. Inside is a Fire Flower.
Block 7: There’s another block to the right of the hidden block. This one contains a 100-Coin.
