Man, wish I could have played the Master Quest back then. Can't wait to play it on the 3DS (whenever that will happen) I just doubt I will play it right away once I beat the game normally because the game is long enough to begin with :/
I'm pretty sure you'd play more of this after the normal quest at some point. Besides, you'd want a challenge, anyway. Don't turn back, HuntMac.

Those that live in the United Kingdom are lucky...

North American 3DS owners may be frustrated by the lack of pre-order bonuses for Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, but fans in the UK will be able to pick up a limited edition golden sleeve and double-sided A2 poster when they pre-order and purchase Link's 3D adventure.

GAME and Gamestation stores are both offering the bonuses to early birds, with the poster depicting Link in battle on one side and riding Epona across Hyrule's countryside on the other, hopefully in a larger version of Europe's beautiful Zelda box art.

Pre-order Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D at GAME to nab your bonus goodies.

A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY WITH PRE-ORDERS OF THE LEGEND OF ZELDA™: OCARINA OF TIME 3D

Gold sleeve title sheet and exclusive A2 double sided poster available at GAME and gamestation stores to celebrate the return of a legend in 3D

16th May, 2011 – In preparation for the re-mastered launch of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, one of the most critically-acclaimed games of all time, Nintendo is offering a special game packaging which features a gold sleeved title sheet and an exclusive double-sided A2 sized poster for those who pre-order The Legend of Zelda™: Ocarina of Time 3D, available at GAME and gamestation stores before it is launched on Nintendo 3DS across the UK on 17th June, 2011.

As one of the landmark titles in video-game history, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has been completely re-mastered for the Nintendo 3DS system and incorporates 3D graphics without the need for special glasses. Fans of the original game and newcomers alike will be captivated by the bold new visuals as they take control of one of video-gaming’s all-time great heroes – Link.

The task in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D will be to guide Link on a journey of epic proportions, as he attempts to save the land of Hyrule from Ganondorf, the Gerudo King of Thieves, who is intent on ruling and conquering the land of Hyrule with the power of the mythical Triforce. For those who played the original classic game, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D will bring back plenty of nostalgia, whilst providing a fresh new approach and feel to the gameplay. Thanks to the revamped epic 3D graphics and completely re-designed control system incorporating the Touch Screen, Circle Pad and the in-built gyro sensor of the Nintendo 3DS system, players will be able to guide Link on a magical journey through time in a more intuitive way like never before.

When you pre-order your copy of the game, you will receive your exclusive double-sided A2 poster depicting Link in battle, and on the other side, dashing on his horse Epona across the vastness of the Hyrule countryside as he sets out on his epic quest. Pre-order copies will also receive a special gold sleeve as part of the game packaging.

To pre-order your copy of the The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D and to receive your special pre-order item, place an order at your local GAME and gamestation before the game goes on release across the UK on 17th June, 2011.

Man, they're again, lucky. Having a poster would be cool. As for the gold sleeve, I don't know. Get it while you can if you live in the UK. I may have pre-ordered the game, but bonuses? Nothing.

It's not Europe's fault that US gets it later, NOA decides when's the best time for it to come out; blame it on them.

That's a bunch of bull that Europe is getting everything good for the 3DS. They got their 3DS systems before us, many of their games are coming earlier than ours, and we don't even get a bonus.

Don't complain, we get absolutely everything else later than North America, 1 or 2 games isn't going to hurt.
In terms of "everything else", Europe has gotten more than a few games before US, like MKWII is a example.

That's exactly what I was thinking haha. North America people need to shut the fuck up cause Euro gets everything late.

A little old but

Many readers have asked us is if Nintendo (through Japanese developer Grezzo) has added anything to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. Of course, the game is being drastically revamped visually, with improved textures, animations and character models. The touch-based capabilities of the Nintendo 3DS have also resulted in enhanced menus for gear, items and Link's map. Players will also be able to use the system's gyroscope to physically move their 3DS to look around in the game.

Outside of these changes, alterations are generally very subtle. An extra visual prompt in the Water Temple or added particle effects, for example. Through our several hands-on opportunities with Ocarina of Time 3D, we have yet to see anything truly different. Until now.

A closer look at the Gear menu reveals something new on the far left.
We've had a chance to play around with a reviewable build of Ocarina of Time 3D and have discovered an interesting replacement to Link's arsenal. Those of you who have played the original version of Ocarina will no doubt recall the Stone of Agony item, an object Link acquires after collecting enough "Gold Skulltula" tokens. This object, when paired with the Nintendo 64 Rumble Pack, would shake the controller when Link approached a hidden area. In subsequent releases, for example on Wii's Virtual Console, the item was effectively useless, as the system did not support rumble capability on older games.

This time around, Nintendo has replaced the Stone of Agony with the Shard of Agony. Since the 3DS has no rumble capability, Grezzo has opted for audio and visual clues. As Link nears an object of interest, a pinging sound will play out automatically, and an icon of the Shard will flash in the upper-left portion of the screen.

Collect enough Golden Skull Tokens and this could be yours!
It's a small change, but it's good to know Grezzo and Nintendo are thoroughly analyzing every element of this remake. Stay tuned to IGN - we'll have more on Ocarina of Time 3D leading up to its release, and review, in mid-June.

Not really a new item, but a cool replacement nonetheless.
