YSMP - Treadmill Party!

Alright - everyone ready? Time to get this party underway!

Remember - the rules will always be posted on the sign-up topic, so if you need a short reminder, look their first! Everything is there, but don't be afraid to ask if something isn't clear because I kinda found it tough to put those descriptions in such little words...

But before we get into any of the action, however - let's meet the competitors for the game!

Sashe, The Shattered Legacy, Spongyoshi, and NintendoFan!

There's isn't much left to say at this point but take a close look at the board you'll be playing on and try to get an understanding of how it'll be...

Note you might wana click the image to expand it.

Anything else? No? I guess I just have a few last things I'd like to say before we get started...
Firstly - you're all starting from that 3rd Toad Space from the side you're all on - meaning even at this point you can be sent back a good number of spaces if not careful.
You also might wana try landing on the two event spaces from time to time as you get a choice between the two events in which everyone takes the effects (All events are viewable from the sign-up page). They can really help depending on your current position on the board.
The hanging chains also are there to just help represent where you can "protect" yourself from being sent backwards by the treadmill. They hang above spaces below in which this is possible from. Remember only 1 person can protect themselves on a space at a time, so think of it like only 1 person can hang off the chain each turn okay?
Finally - You all move at the same time. However, if you're aiming to protect yourself that turn, you might wana just go and post first as once you protect yourself the other's can't do so on the same space.

Do you all understand how to play? It's fairly simple once you understand but very complicated to explain I know so if you still have questions feel free to ask while we still get things started.
So without further adieu - good luck to you all, and Let's Party!Turn 1
Movement Phase

0-5 Diceblocks away!
I'll post all your rolls down below and you tell me how many spaces you wana travel across the board. Remember you're traveling to the right to get to that goal space on the other side. You only don't really get to make a choice if you roll a 0 is all, since you won't be able to really move...

Sashe rolled a 5
The Shattered Legacy rolled a 2
Spongyoshi rolled a 0
NintendoFan rolled a 5

...aaaannnnddd sorry Spongyoshi as you aren't able to do anything on the first turn.
Look on the bright side though - you landed on a Toad Space, right? :p

oh yes I almost forgot a visual description of where you started in case you might have not fully understood.
:bowser: :bowser: :warp: :warp: :warp: <---- the Space you start on
Just think of this as the start of the board, with the space on the very left being that bowser on the very left.

Also I'd prefer if you told me how many spaces you traveled your turn just so I can fully understand your move because, as you can see by how many of the same spaces there are.

So far all moves are fully understandable so no need to truly change your post or anything but just wanted to say that in case.

No Players have gone for protection this round - looks like everyone's deciding to take a risk - will it pay off...?Event Phase

Anyone on a Toad?
Anyone on a Bowser?

If you're wanting an event - these two are the ones to talk too! They'll help make the game much more interesting as they provide extra effects that will happen as you go along the game!

Let's see what event cards the players have this time...

Spongyoshi - Bonus Event!
Double Die / Short-Circuited

Remember - events affect every single player in the game. If you don't want any of the Bonus Events it's okay to reject both cards. You just can't reject Setback Events though, because Bowser said so.

Events - Double Die
All players will roll 2 dice next turn - in which you'll keep the highest roll you make.Treadmill Phase

Bowser : BWAHAHAHA!
Who else did you all think was going to be in control of this thing? As of this moment I'm currently at the Control Panel in hopes of sending you all back to where you came from! Now in case none of you understand what it is that's happening - I'll be throwing a total of 2 dice here myself. One's the activation die and another is a simple 1-6 die. The Activation die has 4 spots blue on it while 2 spots are red and if I roll a red, I'll send you all back to where you came from!!!
...based on... the number I rolled... on the... other... die...

Well - Let's not waste anymore time, let's see how you all fair -
Bowser rolled Blue, 2

Bowser : ARGH!!! You're safe this turn, but I'll get you later...Turn 2
Movement Phase

This game looks to be quite short - though I never intended this to be too long though - just as long as you guys are wanting it to last.
Maybe I might set up a second game if it goes too fast hmm? :p

rsVUTK8.jpg
Sashe rolled a 3 and 0
The Shattered Legacy rolled a 1 and 0
Spongyoshi rolled a 5 and 4
NintendoFan rolled a 4 and 4

Double Die seemed to have done nothing since all of your second rolls were lower than your first ones. Oh well - make your moves.
This has been updated with your true results

Crap crap crap I knew I shouldn't have rushed this (kinda had to at the time...)
But wow how did no one pick up on that?

I did say you could only roll 0-5. This dice roll you got was from 1-6 - that's because I do use actual dice to determine your rolls this game - just forgot to subtract 1 from each of the rolls sorry. You're going to have to remake your moves because of that sorry. Couldn't update this anyhow though so it doesn't change much fortunately.

Also rolling doubles doesn't mean you move double sorry NFan. :p

NintendoFan said:
Oh. Well in that case move forward five spaces to a Toad space. Use protection.
*sigh...

Said I'd try to explain it all before if you needed it. As said - you can't gain protection if you move the maximum number of spaces you can move that turn. You can only move 5 spaces - therefore, you can't gain protection. If you moved 4 spaces you could gain protection from that space instead. I'll give you a bit of time to decide that...

Also you didn't seem to notice on how I said that I miscounted because I had to rush that previous post because I had to go somewhere shortly after that, but I accidentally set everyone's rolls 1 higher than what it showed at the time. You rolled a 4.
