It's a possibility. At least she'd be with Zelda and actually have guards that aren't mushrooms and that are actually equipped with weapons. Zelda hasn't been kipnapped compared to Peach. In Super Mario 2 and Super Princess Peach, she has the ability to fly. Not sure whether it's considered canonical, but c'mon, the power of flight is rather amazing. She couldn't just fly away from Bowser?
