Yoshi's Land

[Luma Party]

This game was in the debug menu.
Because of the 6-year absence of the Yoshi series I would love to have this released.
Future Shop listed it as an upcoming game for the Wii U. What makes it seem more possible is that it was the only game on the debug menu to be listed. Could it be real?

Yeah, I think Future Shop is latching onto rumors at the moment. Still hope to see that this becomes a reality. I wonder if it's going to be similar to Yoshi's Story or past Yoshi Island games, but it would be nice if it's an entirely different genre.

I mean, seriously, 6 years after the previous Yoshi game came out...

I knew something like this would be said soon! I hope they follow what I have said before.

Yay! Yoshi's Island is my favorite SNES game! Can't wait to see what Nintendo does with Yoshi this time!

I posted this in the comments section but i thought i would be heard here more anyway.

I hope its Yoshi Land and not Yoshi Island because Nintendo can do so much more with Yoshi Land then revisiting Yoshi Island. I do like Yoshi Island but am getting a little sick of it what about a game where you travel to different islands and save one of the babies at each island. This was the first thing that popped in my head and i think it would be really cool. I'd like to express a full idea sometime on this topic but that will be later

Like I said I'll post up my ideas and here they are:

Story:
Yoshi is laying down on his hammock on the beach and soaking up the sun. Then the sky goes black. Yoshi looks up at the sky and dark purple clouds are covering the entire sky. Dark purple blobs fall from the sky and land on the ground. The blobs form into Shroobs! (Yay they return) Yoshi sees a giant flying machine fly across the sky and sees the babies flying in bubbles up to the machine. Fortunately the bubbles pop but the babies are scattered all across Yoshi Land. (Baby Mario lands in front of Yoshi and Yoshi picks up Baby Mario and starts running off)

Islands:
Yoshi's Island:
(1st Boss: Pitter The Patter)
(2nd Boss: Mama Dino)
Because it has to be here

Flower Fields:
(1st Boss: Sunny The Sun)
(2nd Boss: Super Crazy Daisy)
A fieldy area with lots of flower enemies and large flying flowers

Creepy Valley:
(1st Boss: Boo Boo)
(2nd Boss: Count Shroobula)
A scary place with creepy caves and spooky stuff

Pirate Isles:
(1st Boss: Blackbeard Tappy)
(2nd Boss: Captain Cross)
A group of isles that have been taken over by pirates

Frozen Island:
(1st Boss: Freezie The Icicle)
(2nd Boss: Frost)
A frozen glacier which is very cold and very slippery

Rain Rain Forest:
(1st Boss: Shod The Spear Guy)
(2nd Boss: Toko The Tiki)
A very rainy and foresty island it also has some caves

Sky Island:
(1st Boss: Count Shroobula)
(2nd Boss: Princess Shroob)
The Shroobs took over the sky island and made it very Shrooby

NOTE: All Bosses have been infected by Shroobs who have a new power of turning into goop (kinda silly idea)

Baby Mario (Start off with)
Baby Peach (Win on Flower Fields)
Baby Luigi (Win on Creepy Valley)
Baby DK (Win on Pirate Isles)
Baby Wario (Win on Freezie Glacier)
Baby Daisy (Get 3 stars on all levels on Flower Fields)
Baby Toad (Get 3 stars on all levels on Pirate Isles)
Baby Waluigi (Get 3 stars on all levels on Freezie Glacier
Baby Shroob (Get 3 stars on all levels on Sky Island)
Baby Bowser (Get 3 Stars on all levels on Creepy Valley)

The music from the title screen in Yoshi's Story which is also the music in challenge mode for Yoshi Park in Mario Super Sluggers would be the best.

I always sort of hoped for a Baby Toad/Toadette that used Mega or Mini Mushrooms to assist Yoshi in puzzles.

Baby Toad or Toadette could give Yoshi various mushrooms that give him various abilities, though they may accidentally give him a Poison Mushroom...
