I'm gonna have to disagree with a lot of you people. Sure we all want MP9 and are big fans of the series, but if we weren't this site probably wouldn't exist. I think it actually looks like a lot of fun to me. It seems like an alternitive to the classic Mario Party games everyone else plays. Also I've always wanted my Mii to be a bigger part of the game then just standing in the background or playing EXTRA games. So I think everyone should stop complaining and give it a shot. And THEN complain about it.

LOL this is hillarious. XD No one is complaining about the game itself, there complaining that it looks like there won't be a MP9. >.>

... This looks a lot more interesting than Mario Party 8. Its a bit more fast paced than Mario Party was. And it looks like the minigames were handled a lot better than they were in MP8. Looking forward to this and Mario Party 9.

Not to mention that it's the only board available. >:l it's waaaaayy too luckk based. I've played it for 3 hours with a friend who imported it, and we played the Island Board. I still can believe that I won, on my first try, and on the hardest CPU difficulty, and I even got a 6 in the first try when attempting to gain access to the treasure ontop of the mountain. I don't like the way the order is selected though, because it's determined by the minigame. Someone who might be moving on the board last on one turn may be able to move first in the next turn if they win the minigame.
>_<

The Hide and Seek Mode looks okay, but it just isn't good enough. For those people that don't have a filled up room, it'll make it too easy to win. Hopefully they'll let you change settings like for time. I don't like the way the host looks, if that is a host, but it's okay. Still wish it could be MP9. :p

I was actually looking at this today. It looks pretty awesome! I do wish there were more than just one board for the Boardgame Island....although there IS the Globe Trot! I love how there are 80 minigames! That's more than majority of the MPs...I'm impressed! We might as well get used to this because we're not really getting an MP9

It gets even better (sorta), the minigames are available to you once you put in the Wii Party disc for the first time. Though I have to admit, Globe Trot is very clever, but it lasts a while when playing it. It may say that it lasts about an hour, but it lasted 2 hours the first time for me, and I lost, lol. But sometimes, the cpu players are pretty stupid when in minigames even with the hardest setting.. :p

I'm sorry but I'm only impressed with some of the minigames.

The one board, isn't all that interesting and I don't like how it's based more on luck than skill.

Hide and seek? Seriously? What you need a friggen Wii to do that?

This game looks crappy except the minigames. I'll rent it or borrow it from a friend but only because of the minigames.

I stronly agree with this. Not that entertaining for me to purchase unless SZ convinces me strongly...:p

Just rent it. It's not worth buying it. I've played it 4 times and I'm already bored of it.
