The constantly praise of it being the best game or fighter ever is annoying. The Subspace was a decent mode, I don't understand why it had to be a sidescroller, it didn't really test your skills. The maze was just simply a bunch of previous levels put together and just seemed like a chore to do. The multiplayer is the best quality of the game. The plot isn't really that good since there aren't really any surprising plot twists or anything, just one thing leading to another. Btw, there are no cheap characters just cheap players or even bad characters. Most of my mains are low tier.

Some purists from Melee bashed this game the most, I think.

Maybe because C.Falcon, Sheik and Fox got downgraded a lot? They were high in Melee, if memory serves....

I personally don't like the fact that any character that is a (semi) clone of a character is better than the characters their movesets are based off. I would have liked to have completely different moves for Lucas, Wolf and Toon Link. Not to forget Ganondorf.

I used to think that but lucas has a different style than Ness. I rock as lucas but suck as ness.

Lucas has different style than Ness? His Up-B thunder balls go through people, but Ness' doesn't. Lucas strikes faster with his Side Smash, Ness doesn't. Lucas' Up Smash is very strong, Ness' barely even get in the air. xD
Overall, Lucas is better than Ness. Lucas' attacks are mostly faster than Ness and have less knocback. But it's not like knockback is everything. If you're ultra fast, you are unstoppable. There will be no knockbacks to help you. =/
I prefer Ness over Lucas.  8)

There are no "good" characters. Lucas is just easier to master than Ness. I also perfer Ness over Lucas.

SSBB sucks. I'm sorry, but it was a huge disappointment in my eyes. The Online lags way too much and it is hacker-approved. The characters added to the game were all fan requested. The Stage Builder lacked many elements that would have made it a enjoyable addition.

The new Story Mode was the only decent thing I liked about SSBB, but once again, it was more fighting than puzzle-solving, which Nintendo promised would even out the two.

The online and stage building are the only things i hated about Brawl. Other than that I don't think it was that disappointing.. It's a fighter game. Not an actual full blown rpg or platform. We were lucky to get a story mode with it at all. People just need to stop looking so deep into it..

It's more of the fact that Nintendo lied to us every step of the way of what they were originally going to do. <.<

Alright I'll give you that.. I wish they'd take online play more seriously like Microsoft does..
