Who else wants Super Mario 64 HD to happen?

Okay, so next year is Super Mario 64's 20th Anniversary.
Nintendo should definitely make an HD remake of Super Mario 64!
And I mean, an actual Super Mario 64 remake, not like DS where they added characters, etc.
I want the original, in HD.
Does anyone else want it?

Maybe, but it better have like 200 stars, more switches, and more story and gameplay. If anything, a sequel. Then it would be more unique than the first two installments.

I wouldn't mind if it allows for Nintendo to gauge interest in the original 3D platformer style (i.e. the large, explorable worlds over linear missions/levels), and then create a new 3D Mario game in that style.

It's not going to happen. We have the original on the Nintendo 64, then the remake on the Nintendo DS. If they did, then it would be another Super Mario 3D game for Wii U. So no, it's not going to happen. We already have a Super Mario 3D game for Wii U. That's Super Mario 3D World.

Play the original on either the Nintendo 64, the Wii VC, or the Wii U VC. Or play the remake on the Nintendo DS.

The amount of people that want such a thing is very small.

World map, lack of story, etc.
If Nintendo doesn't make another 3D Mario for the Wii U, then it would be a disappointment.

I think he means he wants a hub instead of a world map which is linear.

if the money is there they will remake the game. wind waker didn't need an hd remake and it got one.

as for actually wanting a remake, not really. the only thing i'd absolutely want is a decent camera.
