Where are these boards coming from?

[cookieboy17]

Lately I've noticed 2 boards just randomly appear visible to me. But the problem is they've apparently been open for months but I was never able to see them. First one is Aegis's blog, that's apparently been up for a while, like since February, but it first appeared visible for me a week ago. Second one is Serious Discussion. I never heard about that board before and all of a sudden it becomes visible to me today, like 3 months after it was made or whatever. Just wondering why I'm only getting to see them now.

I've had a problem seeing some of the blogs too. Like I couldn't see VIP's Blog for a month or so and now it's back.

Yea it seems to me that the permissions are getting messed up do to a clutter of membergroups, that's just my guess on what the problem is.

Yeah same here I suddenly saw Serious Discussion recently. Also I couldn't see Charizard's blog for awhile too.

For Aegis's blog we took it off from regular member's view for about a week so thats what happened to that. I don't have an explanation for the others though.

Same here, sort of.
Serious Discussion appears for me awhile, then it just disappears for while. Well it disappeared as soon as I was promoted to mod.
Edit: H-J fixed the mod problem.

When the new Mod positions were added, they didn't have Serious Discussion open to them. About Cook... I think that Newsletter permisions didn't grant access to Serious Discussion...

Ight, well for the newsletter board you guys should just make the newsletter board permissions the same as the regular member group so there's no other problems. Just go into the permission page, checkmark the newsletter group, and set the permissions to match the regular member membergroup.

They're inherited from Regular Members, but I'm not sure the permissions you're talking about correlate to board visibility permissions. But then, I can't access permissions directly (SZ's creed from a year ago).
