Yup I made yet another Topic for this, but anyway...what did you hate in MP4?
I didn't hate anything about the game...well except probably the Items and the Boards as well, they were all grey and felt kinda soulless =P but yeah I loved the game, and barely hate anything in it, what did you hate about MP4?

Yeah. The items were really lame and all the boards did feel souless because of all that grey.

I also hated that you couldn't buy a Star when you're mega. I also hated those Mini Mushroom pipe things. Sometimes you'd have to actually go in one to retrieve a Star. And to me, that shouldn't be necessary.

This. And the boards had plenty of gimmicks.

Yup, this. The only board that I felt was different, was "Toad's Midway Madness". I swear, that board to me felt like Mario Party 3, and felt very lively. And the music was just great, sort of like they were leaning towards MP3 at the beginning and then stopped after designing Toad's board. =P

Items, ehh... they were OK, I didn't mind the whole mega/mini thing.

Yeah Toad's Midway Madness was probably my favorite board too, only one that felt decent. But to sorta cut this game some slack it was the first MP game to be made on the Gamecube.

Unlike you guys i liked the games item system. Overall this is probaly one of my favourite mario partys. I guess the bards were to big.
The size of the boards didn't really bother me as much as how boring the boards actually were, the happening spaces, other effects on the board weren't the most exciting. But it's still better than a lot of the boards in the later games.

boards had way too many gimmicks. i entered a tournament actually last weekend (32 people) $5 dollar entry fee. I made the top 8 which is pretty cool but unfortunately the tournament is this game -_- haha. Also i dont like the mushroom spaces were pretty much every other turn your gonna get a mega or mini mushroom

So...many...mini/mega mushrooms. Every time I land on a mushroom space it gives me the mushroom I don't want, and when I'm more than five spaces away from a mini pipe and end up passing it on my turn it's annoying. Plus, I can't go to the lottery when I'm big, and I love the lottery-more efficient than a bank.
