Was Toadette the best addition?

Yes, it always will. I always loved Toadette, as well as the other Toads. Back in Mario Party 6, it's a good idea never to forget about Toadette as a playable character for Nintendo.

But I think that she'll be the 12th character of the upcoming Mario Party 9 because Toad has no partner. And I think that Toadette will be the perfect fit for Toad's partner, as well as an unlockable character as always.

There's a big story to tell about Toadette, but I would say about it if she joins Mario Party 9 or the future Mario spinoff games. And I predict that something really bad at the very end of Mario Party 9 to her, if she joins. And I can post a topic about that too.

I didn't care.  In face, I don't care who gets added (or removed) for Mario Party.  I see the characters in Mario Party as merely pieces on a game board.  Sure, everyone has a favorite but more game pieces only means I can pick a different piece if I get bored with using the one I like or if someone else takes my piece.  Or I get another favorite piece. ;D

Granted, character selection is much more important in MP7 as the characters have their unique orbs and it makes some pieces/characters more important/useful than others, which is one thing I didn't like about MP7.

Don't forget, the games started originally with 6 playable characters, and I agree with you completely.

I really agree with you. I don't really care about characters, gameplay is more important to me. And about Mario Party 7 character selection, Toad/Toadette and Peach/Daisy have rigged character orbs, and Yoshi/Birdo doesn't have really great character orbs. That's bad. One thing I dislike about Mario Party 7.

Some members like Dark Boo claim that Toadette appeared as a non-playable character in Boo's Horror Castle of Mario Party 9. And that pink Toad House with pink mushrooms (like her plaits) at the board looks suspicious. Have a look at the image below:

Yeah, she's getting old anyway, but it's good that she's removed because she crashed Mario Party 6 back in 2004. Talk about a troublemaker! But yet, we will see Toadette again in the future.
She's getting old? she has been in three games, you can't call that old s;
what the hack do you mean with '' she crashed mario party 6 back in 2004, talk about a troublemaker!'' ??

Some people today has not seen Toadette for a while. That's why they called her 'old'. It's because of Nintendo and other developers.

Toadette was considered, to be a troublemaker in Mario Party 6 back in 2010. I first played Mario Party 6 on November 30, 2011. And when I got to December 12, 2011 (the night when I completed the game and unlocked her) finally revealed to me, "Hey Toadette, Welcome to Mario Party 6! We're surely that you will have fun! Hope you will enjoy the party Toadette! Yours Truly, Brighton and Twila." After all this, she ruined everyone's fun (even mine's) on MY game.
