Video game cheats in real life.

Which classic video game cheat would you take, if you could have only one?

  • Unlimited lives. Have to deal with 100 back to back duels? You'll win no matter what.

  • No clip mode. How easy would life be if you could walk through walls?

  • Cheating devices. I just want to be able to have unlimited bombs.

  • Save system. My life sucked today. I'll just reload yesterday's save and try again.

Save system. Just think of the possibilities that could happen if you could restart the same day over and over. You could have a fresh start to the day if you completely messed up something, hook up with the girl you've always wanted (with unlimited attempts), learn completely new skills within a day that would usually take months to master, and even save people's lives. What's not to like? :p

Save system, ofc you'd have to consider the repercussions of retaining all the memories in each failed playthrough (particularly if death is involved and you feel a responsibility to save that person, knowing that outcomes would change blah blah) as you return to the save point. (The concept has been alluded to in many a JRPG, but obviously it doesn't quite have the same realism factor that a system would in real life).

Unlimited lives is a bit of a hypothetical nightmare because of how you get recreated and such. Also the whole experiment-like feeling (Doctor Who? or some other show with clones)

No clip would be interesting but could it apply to floors/roofs if there are underground tunnels?

Cheating devices are too disc one nukey to be fair...

Save system would be the best for me. I make a lot of mistakes that I wish I could correct and some decisions I regret making, so this would be perfect for me. But yeah, basically what Toblet said:

I would go with a save system though, so long as I didn't get a long lecture from Resetti whenever I reset, and also so long as I don't save in an awkward position, such as on the toilet, or when I'm tripping or about to be injured, haha.

The save system reminds me of this cheesy Nicholas Cage movie I watched where he could travel in time.

*le search*

Turns out he's a magician who can see into the future. Random link of the day: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0435705/
