There was a tornado warning in effect for my area at around 7 or so, and there was some real panic over it because the tornado (if it hit) would've been the largest and most devastating recorded in the year at roughly 4.3 miles wide.
luckily it's blown out over the shores, so right now there's only a flood warning and storm warning over the area which is good because i'm away from the shore where most of the flooding is occuring.
I'm really relieved this turned out to be a false alarm, because it got so damn close to forming and it still didn't get a chance to touch down so i'm eating a ton of cupcakes and coffee which i'll probably regret later.
