The Queen's Diamond Jubilee

Is anyone else watching the Diamond Jubilee? In the UK it's on BBC1 and Sky news. (I'm not sure sure about elsewhere). The Diamond Jubilee is a celebration of the Queen being on the throne for 60 years.

The Queen looks beautiful in her white Outfit. The Boat is quite spectacular, no-one else in the world would have a boat that's gold plated and has red velvet on chairs. It looks very royal. The Duchess of Cambridge also looks very beautiful in her red dress.

It did have to be raining... British weather is so unpredictable. :p

Just reminding people of the Jubilee, if you've forgotten.

Your Queen is merely a figurehead to your overall government. At least our President has the power to screw up our country.

Our Prime Minister also has the power to screw up our country. At least the Queen has the power to get rid of him. Also, all of our top secrets are known by the Queen and she discusses with the Prime Minister every week and therefore she still has a strong influence of how our country is run.

As a person living in England for my entire life, I feel I should say something... Screw David Cameron! Go Liz! But seriously Cameron is a idiot.

As for the Jubilee I was watching it for about an hour but got a bit boring.
At least you watched a bit of it.

Yes, David Cameron is a complete idiot. His policy is 'Make the rich richer'. He comes from a wealthy background so he has no idea what it's like to have no money or to be unemployed. He thinks everyone is lazy. >.>

I have never been interested in any English monarch. I only focus on the Prime Minister, like Winston Churchill. He led his country out of WWII, not the monarch at the time.

Uh, no? The government was majorly transformed so that the monarchy has very limited power and that the Prime Minister's Cabinet holds a vast majority of the power. When you hear about leaders who were heroes of WWII, you don't hear about how FDR and the Queen had a great relationship. Instead, it was FDR and Churchill.
