Yes. Can definitely tell you Mario Super Sluggers and Mario Strikers Charged were just a complete waste of an invention. They already had Gamecube versions, another really didn't need to get made.
As for the two Super Mario Galaxies, the first one was definitely something new for the Mario series and helped pave the road for Mario's adventure...but then they come along and make a second that's basically the same thing as the first with nothing new added(well, except Yoshi and the new power-ups) and was also waaay too easy than the first one. I remember(either GameInformer or Nintendo Power) said that the game was going to give the player a real challenge compared to the first. Such a fat lie. But that's not to say I enjoyed the game.
Mario Party 8...do I even need to?
The Mario and Sonic Olympic Games series was a neat idea...but c'mon. You really couldn't make some sort of platformer game with the two? Instead, let's make an Olympic sporting game. Lame. I will say though, the DS Versions are much better than the Wii versions.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii was...blegh. The game offered NOTHING new except the new power-ups and Yoshi(hmm...kinda like Super Mario Galaxy 2). I personally thought the game was pretty cool at first, but as I went on it got boring and tiring to play(but this might have something to do with my decrease fondness of 2D/3D platformers). I dunno, but whatever it is...the game doesn't seem to be liked by many. And again, I thought the DS one was much better.(we're kinda running into a pattern here...)
OH BOY! SUPER PAPER MARIO! A GAME I LOVE AND HATE AT THE SAME TIME. The story is really good for the most part, but the gameplay is so wretched. It's not the worst, but it gets really dreadful up to a certain point. But I'm not gunna say anymore here about this game...considering I already made a long and thoroughly review here: http://www.mariopartylegacy.com/forum/index.php?topic=2639.0
And now for Mario Kart Wii. The game is really fun when you have other people to play with, definitely. Which makes WiFi a good addition. But those sorry hackers ruin the game for the most part online(that's why i prefer real life play or online friend races only rather than regional or world wide; but that has nothing to do with the game itself as an entirely). The overall gameplay is your basic racing game to the finish. Simple. Fun. The innovation of the bike was neat and being able to perform tricks was also another cool thing added. But playing by yourself can really bore you, so to speak.
I can't say anything for Mario Sports Mix, as I've never tried it. But from what I hear two of the sport games on the video game aren't played out that well or aren't that fun to play.
Overall, yeah...most of these Mario games weren't that good at all. But I just wanted to give you my overview on the whole Nintendo Wii collection(with the exception of Mario's 25th Anniversary Collection).
The best one out of all these, though, I'd say is Super Mario Galaxy. I would say Super Paper Mario...but that gameplay is what kills it.
