Mario Kart Wii will not help you with driving.

Since this person didn't actually include a source I had to look it up to prove it:

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/boy-mario-kart-prepared-drive-article-1.1420984

The kid didn't drive to the hospital, he put the car in a ditch. It's pretty easy to swing the wheel to the right; driving is something that you have to learn and Mario Kart Wii will not teach you those skills.

Yeah, don't rely on video games to teach you with skills like driving. The kid was really smart to do what he did but he was also really lucky (assuming the grandmother didn't have her foot on the pedal and there was a flat ditch to glide into).
I said it might help you.
Can we not argue semantics pls I think the main point of what we're trying to say and what you're not even concerned about is that you shouldn't use experience in video games as actual practice IRL

I mean I certainly wouldn't claim to be able to play tennis despite playing the Mario Tennis games so...

So my Driving Test is on Monday... Any tips?
(Especially about parking between 2 cars... >.>)
My tips, though I'm only 13. :p
1. Stay FOCUSED. Don't press the gas pedal too hard. ;P
2. Don't get stressed, nervous, etc.
3. Drive slow and steady. Take your time.
4. Always remember to press "reverse", when starting the car! (before you drive, or more importantly back up lol)
5. Be aware of stop signs, speed limit signs, traffic lights, etc.
6. Know what all signs mean. ^
7. If you don't pass, use your teacher's advice to help you do better next time! ;)
(I don't know what the test is, so I might give you irrelevant information. :p)
Good luck! :D

What sort of between two cars? Reverse parallel? ...surely you practised this with an instructor/parents. If not I would expect some tutorials online or something
Also indicate as you're starting the RPP and keep indicating

Overall:
Pretend that you're actually still quite nervous (I screwed up the first time I took the test because I got cocky)
Do all your head checks and allow plenty of time to change lanes/turn/whatever
Drive slowly (don't exceed speed limits ofc)
Be wary of scenarios where unusual road rules apply

for parallel parking, you're probably going to have a lot of trouble if you haven't practiced it and it might be the kicker.

what i was taught was to line up your front seats with the cars back seats, signal, look, twist the wheel clockwise, angle the car on a 45 to the other car, straighten the wheel, reverse until the front of your car interests the back license plate of the other vehicle, twist the wheel counter clockwise and steadily put the car in. then park, but don't adjust the wheel. "the radius that gets you in will get you out."

also head checks (ie when you make a turn, look in your blind spots). could be the difference between a pass and a fail.

turn the ac on
