I'm having a surgery for my cleft lip and pallet. It's an outpatient surgery but there's the possibility that I might be inactive for a couple days after it. I have to not eat any food or drink anything 8 hours before the surgery, wake up at 4:00, be at the hospital by 5:30, and be ready at 7:00.
Pretty much what my surgery is: I have a big hole in my mouth were I can literally feel my sinus. I was born like this so it doesn't really feel all that weird to me. The surgeon is going to put some dead guy's mouth tissue in my pallet and within one month, that tissue should be dissolved and my mouth will naturally grow its own tissue in its place. I know, it's some freaky Sh*t.
