Koopa Kid is like marmite, you either like him, or you don't. Also, like Pokemaster said, obviously people thought his addition to the roster was pointless. I don't mind that he positioned last because he's not one of my favourite characters but he wouldn't be my first choice to vote out.

Isn't that for all characters really, you either like them or you don't.

Not really. For some of them, you don't mind if they're there. For example, Yoshi is popular, but isn't exactly hated by the majority of people. Most of the dislikers are those who say he's overrated but most don't actually mind him being in the roster.
