The creator said it will have 99% new features than the last and much tougher.
With less focus on plot. :-/ I hope that it's not too boring. And I hope that they actually make the characters speak and say dialogue during small scenes. I also hope that they make good orchestric music again, so I would want to buy the soundtrack (I have the SMG Platinum soundtrack in CD)
I hope for once that a Mario game have different difficulty levels when playing a file. If Miyamoto said that it will be difficult, then Hard mode would be something out of this world. (Haha)
Rosalina is probably going to return because if Mario is going to have the spin punch attack, he will need the luma to do so. But what role would she play this time?

Edit: I just realized. When finishing SMG, the luma that Mario and Luigi had to make spin attacks stayed behind in the Galaxy above Earth once Rosalina and the spaceship left. Maybe that's how Mario could get his spin attack back in SMG2. And maybe the game will begin with that new Galaxy.

I think it's a weird title for a game. This is Nintendo first adventure game for the Wii (might be ever) that uses a number. Mostly, Nintendo uses an epic title. But a 2? Strange. Still, I hope it's a great game. I like the gravity shift and all that. And the launch stars.
Nintendo Week is giving more info about this game on January 11th! 
I know. It's both a good thing and a bad thing to that. The good thing to that is that finally there will be new information on the game. The bad news, is that it will be told by bad actors. (Good people, but bad actors)

I really want this game! I saw the trailer and saw lots of things that grabbed my attention. For example, will Rosalina return? What do you have to collect? Who's the final boss? What will return? What's that weird block person?

I don't think I'll be getting this. The first Super Mario Galaxy was okay and all, but I think they should've done the Yoshi riding for example for the first one. :-\

Rosalina has been confirmed. But so far, no Peach or Toads. Oh, please have a Mario game for once that doesn't involve saving a goddamn weakling.
Peach will most likely be there. But if Luigi is playable after you rescue Peach when played with Mario, Luigi should rescue Daisy. So far, she hasn't been in any 3-D Mario Platformer.
