A new Super Mario Bros game was confirmed in an interview with Miyamoto.

I don't know how they'll be able to pull the 3D effect though.

You can play co-op with other player around the world.
Or you can download new stages.

I honestly have lost all hope for the Mario series. It seems like Ninty just doesn't care anymore. They don't do anything special anymore aside from adding new power-ups. All the levels in NSMBWii basically looked like the DS version, and the difficulty wasn't that harder in which Miyamoto was promising us.

Same, the NSMBWii felt kinda generic to NSMBDS after like level 1-2.

I don't see why you hate them. The game was fun. Sure it's not SMB3 but you can't expect perfection with every game. But like you all said, how they'll pull off 3-D in a decidedly 2-D game is baffling.

I'm pumped for this game, since I love 2D SMB platformers.  Anyways, here is what I hope to see in the game:

1)  Chargin Chucks
2)  Hammer Bros suit
3)  90+ levels
4)  DKCR difficulty
5)  Luigi becomes floaty again

I'm kind of exicted for this game. I might get but i'll wait for some reviews first
