Are you saying that in Super Mario 64, you can grab whatever Star you want, even if it's not the one the game wants you to collect, but in Super Mario Galaxy, you're forced to collect the Stars in order for each galaxy?

DS version was the first one I played since it came bundled with my DS (that my mom got from cosco ).
