Guys which Daisy Staryu looks better? The normal one with just orange and green or the one that has orange and the jewel looking like Daisy's flower crest?

Left b.c. the right looks like a Rosalina palette with awkward orange 'legs'.
The white petal rim isn't easy to pull off, especially w/ such a small sprite. Try a white tone closer to the red/orange/yellow spectrum (it's a greenish one at the moment).

I guess it's harder to pull off since Staryu doesn't have much great detail to do so, but how it happened in my mind is: Orange overall body (equals Daisy's dress) and the gem is suppose to represent the petal flower on Daisy's breast. (also show ear example)
I know what you're getting at, but the gem is sufficient for the green. IMO.

Given I don't even know exactly how HJ would appear, I can't really start on spriting. Tho I guess dimension wise my sprite would be about 60% of Staryu's width and 140 or so % of height.

I was thinking if we can find good sprite editers, maybe they can use sprites that already exist, and edit them. I'm not very good tbh (I'm good at changing the colors for different costumes, etc.)
Palette swapping is an 'easy' job from what I make of it, though I've never done it.
