Sony's E3 2011 Event Lasts Five Hours

We're under two weeks away from Sony's E3 press conference now, and those expecting a short in-and-out affair might be surprised that the event is set to last five hours.

The actual announcements will likely come in the initial 'media briefing', expected to last an hour and a half or so, with a mysterious 'special event' following on. This could be anything from a hands-on tour of new hardware to an enormous party, but it's firmly under wraps for the time being.

What do you think this mysterious event could contain? Will Sony Move gamers again at E3 2011? Stick with the Movemodo team and we'll keep you informed.

The event kicks off on Monday 6th June at 5pm Pacific Time (1am Tuesday 7th June UK time).

Seriously, 5 hours? I think that's a bit too much. I think I could guarantee that most of it will be an apology about the PlayStation Network Service being down for three weeks. Other times where they'll announce games and the NGP, as well, which they need time for, but seriously, five hours...

Honestly, I could care less if this has 5 hours... Same for Nintendo and Microsoft, I don't care how many hours it is, just as long as they show some actual good stuff.

What I find more interesting is the fact that Sony's press conference is after and on the same day as Microsofts and not after Nintendo on the next day as it usually is.

Well, I think it's just crazy that they're doing it this long. And if they're going to announce the PS4, I still think it won't be released until like at least until 2013 or 2014.
