Type of racer:
Speed: Run the fastest, but lose handling, can double jump.
Fly: Reduced speed, has great handling, can hover in the air for a fixed time (time varies on the character)
Kart: Has average in all stats and can float on water.

Racing:
Since there would be a large focus on speed in this one the tracks will be more crazy. Flying through buildings, running up skyscrapers, grinding on rails through aincient ruins, and more.

The race tracks will be devided into groups of four. The difficulty of the Grand Pri is decided by you.

Miis:
Much like in Open your Mii's type is decided by you. You start as speed and once more items appear in the shop you can change your type. Items range from jet packs, to running shoes, to karts. Also you can dress them up all pretty. :3


X-Box avatars:
Same as Miis, but minus clothes shopping since you already dressed them.

I use to play this game all the time...until the Saturn died.

I would love to see a sequel. Nice list and ideas, Plum! It kinda reminds me of Diddy Kong racing, with the various ways to race.

I liked Sonic R, I mean it wasn't the best game ever, but it was a fun, short game. I loved the music a lot! Characters need to be equalized imo. Some characters were just so pathetic (Amy/Tails Doll/Egg Robo) and characters are so unbalanced (Super Sonic being perfect...) Fix that and you got a buy from me.

Also, if this is a Sonic racing game, characters like Beat, Ulala, and NiGHTS should keep out.

One game has multiple guest characters automatically means all games must have them? Plus, that's a different Sonic series entirely.

No, but SEGA always seems to include a guest in some of the Sonic spin-offs. Also if they aren't in Sonic as a guest then we would never hear of them since it's all about Sonic with SEGA now. :/
