I'm sure they've taken plenty ideas from Mario Kart. No kart game with ever beat Mario, though. :p

This is a little of topic, but does anyone know what happened to super monkey ball racing on the GCN? That was amazing and was so original with the fact you are rolling around the map inside a ball. It was so fun and made it different from all other racing games. Instead, they had to copy Mario kart, which in my opinion, wasn't as good as the GCN version.

I happen to think the first one was AMAZING and I liked it more than any Mario Kart. The first one wasent even close to sucking, it was praised for being a fast pace racer that played like an arcade game with flavor of a kart racer. The next one is going to blow the first one out of the water. Also not every kart racer is a Mario Kart rip off. Yes, Mario Kart started the Kart Racing genre, but that doesn't make every kooky kart race a Mario Kart rip off. -_- 

Anyway I will always be a bigger fan of SEGA than I am of Nintendo or Mario, so this game was like a dream come true, no other game has had this many SEGA characters brought back from the dead, but to each his own I guess. :/
 
HOLY CRAP!!

I loved the first game on the Wii.  Seeing the video alone made me glee~  8D
I hope it will be on the Wii/Wii U.  I will be extremely happy if they add NiGHTS in the game (because they didn't do it in the last one.  I was disappointed that NiGHTS was just a flagman in the first one  :C).

I'll just see what happens.  I'm really excited for this game.  <3  The new modes/car transformations are AWESOME!

There, There friend - I strongly dislike Shadow, too.  However, I don't think the fact that he appears in the game will ruin it for me.

Random:  I wonder if that Zombie couple is coming back.  Their names escape me, but oh well.

Also, why do people think this is a rip-off of Mario Kart?  I love both this and Mario Kart, really.  :/

Zobio and Zobiko? It's not likely since no one from outside of Japan knew them and they were among the least popular in the first game, but there is some hope for Zobiko (lady zombie) since many have requested her to become a solo driver.

Asaid from Ulala I want to see Honey (fighting Vipers) and NiGHTS to make it in.

Ummm.... What? They add in Daina, but not Ulala? WTF!? That lady needs to learn to say no to endorsments, seriously, but can't blame her for saying yes to be in an awesome racer, the game needed another girl in it, I'm just sad it's not Ulala, or Honey. Daina does peeve me off a bit with her not being even SEGA related in anyway, but as long as no one else from the real world makes it in I'm fine. I guess I should be proud for her for making it into a game that is going to be awesome, many people would lose a limb to do that. >.>  Am I happy she is in? No, but I'm not angrey. As long as she is in a bikini... Just hope they don't go so far off track they they don't include real all-stars like Ulala, NiGHTS, or Honey.
 
Miku would be lovely, but my heart belongs to another pigtailed music lady *soap opera music* her name is.... ULALA! DUNDUNDUUUUUUUUNNNN!


LOL I would love to see our little Miku in this, she diserves it and Miari (i think?) might come to America to. This one has Gumi in it! :D

This game is in desperate need of girl characters...

3DS and Wii U will have their own unique content.
 
NiGHTS and Relea confirmed! They are actually the vehicals with a Nightopian and a Nightmaren driving the respective vehical. The Nightopian driving NiGHTS seems to be a girl with blond hair in a ponytail, not sure what the Nightmaren looks like.  The shots are blurry so I could be wrong. I actually hope its the girl from the first game.

Yeah I think that having these new features would be cool, even if there were already a few in the others consoles for the past game (except the Wii and the Nintendo DS.) But I have a doubt about a track editor, I don't think that the game will have a feature like that...

Game will be released on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 for North America. Mark that date down, Maxime and Plum!

YAY Finaaly a release date I can't wait to play But I have to wait for thw Wii U so I'm going to have to waait untill that's out then Ill buy all the outstanding games'!

Apparently some guy from a Disney movie called Wreck-it-Ralph is going to be in SART. I have no idea who he is, but I can assure you a guy from an UNRELEASED movie is in no way an all-star. How can he be!? No one has even seen his movie yet, so how can he be an all-star of ANYTHING!?

And yet they still refuse Hatsune Miku? I actually consider Miku an all-star NOT this guy.
