Something Odd In MKWii

There's actually a way to be able to move your data from disc to disc.

Insert Disc 1 into the Wii. Start it up and unlock as much as you can. Download the Mario Kart Channel. Take out Disc 1 and insert Disc 2. Disc 2 now has all the data as Disc 1 does.

I'm sure this has been pointed out somewhere else, but w/e.

It is odd, strange how the Mario Kart Wii Channel does that to discs.

I got a replacement disc, as my old one was too worn out.

Maybe it's your Wii memory not your disk.

It's actually the Wii's own memory. If you have saved data on your Wii on a particular game, and as long as you have any copy of that game with the correct region, the saved data can be read by any copy from that region. However if you have a European copy of the game and have a save from a North america copy, a new save will be created for the european copy.

I think it's not either the full Wii memory or the disc, it's saving to the MKC.

And besides, all I was doing was pointing out something weird I found that day. Yeesh.

Not unless it's a DVD+R, but Snowy's correct; Games don't save on the disks. The only possible way, if it can even happen, is if they were rewritable, but still, those disks can't hold s*** for memory.
