I used to love both of those shows, I remember when there was the crossover episode between the 2. It's just that TV producers don't understand that a basic show about maybe a prehistoric family, a futuristic family, or a cat trying to catch a mouse is a recipe for a good show. Instead most of these new shows have all this mumbo jumbo action shit all over which is just bad TV.

Like Spongebob as mentioned 100 times in this topic, is a perfect example of both sides from the same show. The first few seasons were just basic little gimmicks every episode like "Spongebob sells bubbles at bubble stand with Patrick for 25¢. Now it's Spongebob and Patrick sell bubbles to the king of the world who decides to try to murder Spongebob but Spongebob makes a bubble that fights in combat with the king.

Tell me if I'm wrong.
 
Cartoons are so random and all-over-the-place that the jokes are completely hit or miss and it's usually miss. :p

I mean, earlier cartoons were random too, but they actually were STUCK into that one topic, like if Tom and Jerry were to be fighting on the beach, they would stay at a beach, not go into outer space and fight there too. :p Also, Tom and Jerry just pulled slapstick out of their asses instead of spewing out bad puns and crappy humor. That's why I like it when slapstick comedy is sometimes performed silent.

I actually thought Danny Phantom was a pretty cool show.

The Fairly Oddparents WAS cool, but like Spongebob, once the creator left, the show fell apart.

I liked Danny Phantom. And I agree that the show got bad after the creator left.

Shows from CN are all bad. They should just cancel the nework. The old shows were good but all the new ones are pretty bad.
 
Well, what's shit for us is probably not shit for any of these retarded young ones today.
