School/College

I have three finals tomorrow and then I'm done with school in 2012. The first one is grammar in French, it shouldn't be that bad hopefully. Who needs study for that. Second one is Maths, more precisely Vectors, u know that useless thing we never use in real life... and third one is MCO (Monde Contemporain in french, translated in english it'd be something like; Contemporary World)... It's about environment, so nothing that bad.

Oh my Jesus! I am at the moment receiving my grades
So far I got a C for Calculus (Fuckery)
I got a B for Discrete Math (WHAT THE HELL!?)
I thought those grades were going to be vice versa but it wasn't and I am surprised. I am still shocked and sad that I passed Discrete Math. I was crying when I saw the B there...

You had to take 2 math courses in one semester? I feel sorry for you.

Going to school in about 2 hours. I'll be at school from 4-10 on Tuesday and Thursday. My other three classes are all online.

When do you guys start back up?

LOL

I start Jan 22nd lol
And have a crapload of breaks in Feb and March LOL

Changed one of my courses. Instead of Perspectives on Global Development, I'm taking Drug Use & Abuse. It's still Mon/Thu from 11:00 AM to 4:15 PM. I start on Monday, January 14, 2013. Yeah, our site anniversary.

I have the following days off:

Monday, January 21, 2013 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
Monday, February 18, 2013 (Presidents' Day)
Monday, March 25, 2013 (Spring Break)
Thursday, March 28, 2013 (Spring Break)
Monday, April 1, 2013 (Easter Monday)

I went back to school today... seriously sucked.

1st period, I have history. BORRRRRRRING. I was listening to my music and I fell asleep too. :p

2nd period, I have Gym. Oh my god that was fuckery. For WHATEVER reason, at the beginning of the school year, no one cares that there's like 5 classes of gym at once. Today there were 5 gym classes AT THE SAME TIME; my class, the other 9th graders, the girls soccer, the boys hockey AND the 10th grade class. The school gym is big enough for 2 classes (there's a curtain to split it in half).
Both my class and the other 9th graders had to go the weight room, and my god it sucked. We had to do "something" and I literally just sat there on a yoga ball all class. The school needs to get it together...

3rd period, I had Science. We were learning about the cardiovascular system and it was just boring. We also had to exercise to compare our beats per minute before and after we exercise. It wasn't fun. >__>

4th period, I had Math. We were learning about relations and my god it was confusing. It was pretty boring.

Added "College" to the title since a lot of us are in college as well. :p

I start my first year of college (a little late, I know :p) on January 22nd. I'm gonna be taking four classes (ENG, CSC, MAT, PSY), on Tuesdays (ENG, CSC, MAT) and Thursdays (ENG, MAT, PSY). That's only about 4 and a half hours each day (9 hours a week). They aren't all next to each other, but they provide a nice 5-7 hour gap between them to allow me to get some HW done and/or get lunch, run some quick errands, whatever. Just glad it's not as busy as high school.

Chubzster, are you working part-time or full-time? Not sure if you already mentioned it, sorry if you have. And how many units is that?

That's a pretty good schedule you got there, but too bad none are back-to-back, though you're able to get homework done. My courses meet Monday/Thursday, and they're all back-to-back, with C-Hour from 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM. During this time, I can have my lunch. I might also be able to do my homework if possible, but I usually like to do it at home.

I'm a caregiver for my mother. What do you mean by units?

I actually like the fact they're spaced apart, it gives me time to eat lunch and whatever else. I'll have three classes on both days, having two of those classes back-to-back though. It's actually the best way I could have structured it for the types of classes I enrolled in this semester. Another plus is that the CSC and PSY classes are hybrid, meaning they're half on-campus and half online, which is convenient.

Tuesday:

ENG - 8:00AM - 9:15AM
CSC - 9:30AM - 11:00AM
MAT - 4:00PM - 5:40PM

Thursday:

ENG - 8:00AM - 9:15AM
MAT - 4:00PM - 5:40PM
PSY - 6:00PM - 7:30PM

That is a convenient schedule you got there, though one class is far from the other on both days. And what I mean by units, another name for credits, as in, like how many credit hours is that in total for all of your classes? Like, is your English course worth three units/credits, for example?

I'm doing a total of 13 credits this semester. 3 credits for each class, with MAT being 4.

Started up again yesterday...

1st: Geometry with the usual crap. My teachers voice was so nasal because of a cold, it was really hard to understand. My partner that I sit next to is no help either. All he does is copy off of me.
2nd: I actually loved Band. We got a new song, Incidental Suite. I have a really long solo so I suggest you guys look it up and see what I am talking about.
3rd: Latin was the usual. He seemed really stressed about upcoming finals.
4th: Certamen and lunch were meh. We did the usual and I actually ate lunch for once.
5th: Went over English tests and talked about finals. I have a 60 in that class and I have a week to bring it up.
6th: Watched Dave Ramsey in GT Studies and went over our notes. Getting ready for the big district case study financial contest.
7th: Im getting tired of this lady. We have a test tomorrow(actually today but writing from yesterdays perspective) about s*** two weeks ago.
8th: Meh World Geo is the same thing every day.

January 22nd is when I go back, but I move into the dorms on the 20th. This will be the second half of my first year in college.
