Roller Coaster Tycoon series

Anyone here heard of this series, or own any games? I've always enjoyed them, even 3 which was pretty terrible for what it was supposed to be?

But yeah, if you haven't heard of this series, you basically open a theme park, build rides/stalls/etc, and run it so it doesn't suck. The second one is the best.

One of the best Tycoon games, or even the best. I own all three. The three packs from RCT1, the three packs from RCT2 but only the normal RCT3. The best part of the game is when you kill people on roller coasters or the Launch Freefall or you make them go swim, but that only in the two first. The third one was okay, but not as the originals. I just can't believe they messed up the series with Thrillville, it"s not as good as the RCTs.

For some reason, my RCT2 doesn't run on my Vista. This is truly madness.

Anyways, 1 and 2 are the best. 3 was so f***ing terrible.

Yeah, 3 was okay until I actually got it, and it kept crashing and became too confusing.

Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 is DA BOMB. I used to love playing that one a lot over and over. Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 is kinda generic for me, but its still fun to play. A great series indeed, but I've lost interest in playing Roller Coaster Tycoon now. =/ Maybe if they ported it onto a Handheld Gaming System, I'd play it again.

As for the God-smacking horrific Roller Coaster Tycoon 3...*gags* So awful...some games are just not meant to be in 3-D...

It says everytime I install it, it says that it has an internal error and it doesn't complete the Installation.

No idea what's wrong.

I read somewhere( I think it's youtube) that the series are finish and that with thrillvill, the companie ruined.

I'm not sure if it's true, but oh well.

Chris Sawyer and Atari broke relations or something, so they're probably won't be a fourth game.

Also, today I install the third game. It just couldn't get into it. So I uninstalled it pretty quickly.

Yeah, Atari Entertainment Co. went out of business (it's now just Atari Co.), so different branch = series end. =(

Play RCT2.

You'll be surprised at how much more of a tycoon game it is.

I've played all three, and 2 is the most fun for what your supposed to do.
