Ratchet and Clank Series

I have played four of them so far, since I only have a PS2, but loved all of them. It's pretty fun going around the universe and collecting bolts and being on a mission to destroy the bad guys to make peace. It reminds me of Super Mario Galaxy, but it is more challenging with all of the features they add into the game. My favorite would be "Up your Arsenal", they have so much added including past weapons. Ratchet and Clank also have hidden areas and bolts that you have to collect and it is sometimes a challenge to get those. The map is pretty useful as well to tell you if there's a place not yet walked on. The moves on the games are great and anyone can play them. It's also so popular, they have at least 6 games in the series, probably around 10 but not sure, but it's a great series that'll grip you to the controller. What are your thoughts on this series or one of the games?

I have not played the games but I did try it out once with a friend's PSP. I just looked it up and I think it was the one called Size Matters. It does remind yme of SMG since it is a platformer but this one definitely has a lot more fighting mechanics.

It is very similar, especially since they are both dealing with galaxies :p. They're both very fun to play.
 
Love the Ratchet&Clank series! Probably one of the few series I play on Playstation. But the last Ratchet&Clank game I played was Size Matters for PSP. I haven't been able to play the new ones on PS3 yet cause I don't own one...which sucks. I love the weapons on Ratchet&Clank as well. Really unique. My favorite would have to be the Decoy Glove...or whatever it was called. I forgot. Up Your Arsenal would have to also be my favorite. It makes the first one seem really generic. But all of them are really fun to play still.

I only own Up Your Arsenal though...something happened to the other ones that I can't remember.
 
Ratchet & Clank, one of the reasons I remember PlayStation 2 as a great console.

Ratchet & Clank 3 had all the goodness I had played until then, decent humor (?), solid gameplay, plenty of weapons and unlockables and multiplayer.

And there's that Sly 2 Demo also.  8) 8) 8)

Bouncer weapon for the win. I used to abuse it whenever I could in R&C2.

R&C is SMG on steroids. Much rather play this than SMG anyday.

Anyways, the first one and Going Commando are my favs.
