[Joseph Deitemeyer]

Silver and Gold versions of the Mario amiibo form the Mario line have been announced!

They aren't announced, it was just an image.
It may or may not be forged.
Seem interesting though.

[Vipsoccermaster]

They're not announced, and they're not confirmed by Nintendo yet. This is just a rumor. If this is true, then they could be related to the final Gold/Platinum gifts for North America Club Nintendo.

[Yoshiman222]

I would just call it Metal/Gold Mario because that's what they both look like.
Won't be wanting some powered-up Mario amiibos thank you (unless I got the for free which would be epic but doubtful like what VIP said )

[Toblet]

I'm proud to say I have no interest in these.

[Mother4Eternity]

they seem pretty cool but i probably wont get them (mostly because they could be fake) i wonder if a pink gold peach is in the making, or a Green Silver Luigi and Blue Diamond Toad XP

I'd buy a blue diamond toad

By the way the Metal Mario one is more iconic so i'd buy that over the Gold one

[Vipsoccermaster]

It's real. And to add insult to the injury, the Gold Mario is exclusive to Walmart retailers.

What about Metal Mario though? Everywhere? That sounds interesting... but woulda been better as a Club Nintendo platinum reward.

...unless Metal Mario is still.

There is no word on Silver Mario.

[NathanBros]

Bleh... didn´t like them single colored.

[Luma Party]

I think this is stupid.
Just a marketing gimmick.

Blue Diamond ? And it's Toad ? HECK YEAH !I'd also rather get a game than a Gold Mario Amiibo  :-\.

It's a shame they won't take pre-orders...It's going to be a madhouse at Walmart.

I'm starting to wonder if it's a good thing or bad thing...
This means more stocking in store, but if they don't up have the 1-2 amiibo per person limit, scalpers will go insane.

Probably a bad thing, cause I think they say they will only have ONE run of the Gold Mario amiibo.
