PS3 has official CFW now WILL YOU GET IT?!

[Snowy620]

I'm thinking of it, but damn, I read the comments of the release page, and a lot of people have been reporting their PS3's (Fat and Slim and all models of each) getting bricked.

I want a backup launcher so bad. ;_;

[Vipsoccermaster]

I'm sorry, but what is this CFW?

[cookieboy17]

Probably something used to hack the PS3.

Custom FirmWare

It would be nice...but sadly...no. It doesn't higher the chances of me getting one. :/

Sounds like hacker material...

I've been reading a lot about PS3 CFW, but I'm just gonna wait and see how it goes before I make a brick out of my PS3. 2 PS3's of my model have worked, but still a little hesitant to attempt this soon into their developments.

That's cause it is.

[MLYW]

I'm too scared of bricking, console bans, and a bunch of other things to hack my PS3.

No shit sherlock.

I'm too scared of bricking, console bans, and a bunch of other things to hack my PS3.

Bricking would be your biggest worry, since it has less than 50% chance of working.

Also, LBP2 doesn't play nicely with CFW, so I don't have it anymore.

lmao its apparently unfixable though the guy is in legal trouble

[Snowy620]

I highly advise everyone NOT to get it, because it's got a high chance of bricking your PS3, last I read.

[AegisReflector]

cool story bro

[Toshirohokkaido]

Huh. I know PsP CFW allows you to do some things like play downloaded games, etc, what does this do?

[Troll]

I'll advise people I don't like to consider getting it.

Don't worry, if they use Wanikiko's it's a brick.

Kmao's is fine.
