Yet another portable from Sony, the Next Generation Portable, or NGP for short. This is exactly why I've never bought any of the new PSPs.

I think they'll unveil more about it at E3 next Monday, and more details, and it might compete with the Nintendo 3DS around Holiday 2011. They'll probably announce the price and other features, too. But I have no interest in them and I have never tried any kind of Sony hand-held or console, except PlayStation 1.
I'm interested in seeing how this turns out. Wonder if they'll make Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Volume 2 for it.
The announced games for the system still don't fascinate me. The Sony PSP can do so many...but now seeing another portable by Sony...it just makes me wonder.
I can't wait to see this.. I wanted a PSP, but now seeing this, I may wait.
I'm not really excited about the NGP because I had the very first PSP on it's launch date and I don't even have over 10 games for it. I already have a PS3 and all of the NPG's games are ports of PS3 games so it doesn't seem worth it.

And there's the other model that costs $299, $50 more than the other model. It's slated for the Holiday 2011 release.
The 3DS might have some serious competition by then.
The $250 price is really good news. It can evenly compete with the 3DS in terms of price as apposed to the past where Sony consoles were really expensive.
Most of the 3DS's games so far are ports too. I'm sure both the 3Ds and Vita will deliver great original games as all their other consoles in the past have had before. Not sure why you have a problem with the library.

Yay, I might get this, good price, it all depends on games now, and I'm sure it'll have good games. ( I hope so)

I might get the PSVita after a few years or so since I'm happy with my PS3 and 3DS. It looks promising.
I am not going to buy it since, I don't play my psp that much anyway.
