I hope it's Toadette. I mean, the party just wouldn't be complete without her! Since she debuted in the Mario Party series in Mario Party 6, she's appeared in EVERY Mario Party after that! Playable in Mario Party 6, 7, and 8, a host in Advance, and she owned a board in DS.
This is difficult. Toadette kind of sounds forgotten, since it's been just about 3.5 years.
I'm going with Rosalina. Toadette is my second pick. Last pick would be DK.

I've been thinking and I decided to change my vote to DK. I feel like they would have showed him by now (like the box art) and I don't see him getting a board for the third time in a row. They are keeping him secret and not letting previewers say who it is for a reason. Everyone wants him back and it looks like ND Cube is tidying up the roster this time around.

I really don't know, it's such a hard choice, I'm like thinking about Toadette and DK, but at the same I'm like not really sure and it could be someone completely new or I don't know, confusion in my mind. I'll go with DK since I've always liked him.
I'm voting for Toadette. She needs to come back, big time. I miss her.

I say Toadette. Biased since I wouldn't wanna see Rosalina in but oh well.
Taking a look at the current poll results:

>Donkey Kong - If there are going to be unlockables in the cast, I feel as if they'd lock between 4 to 6 charas. If 6 are locked, then it's natural to assume the original Party 6 would be a starting roster (but where's DK? you might ask) in tandem with the callbacks of other recent Nintendo games (a trend they've used quite a lot to be fair). Also SZ's point has merit in that a character that is considered integral to the series has not even appeared in anything previewed so far, and whose absence is just plain mysterious.

I've been thinking about this question for a while and I pick New Character I would like to see a new character become playable. I trust Nintendo to do a great character and hopefully not a generic character but a creative character and hopefully not human because I like creative characters.
I would like to change my vote, because I now believe DK would be the final character. He needs the spot!
Since we're nearing the release, I've also been thinking that DK might return being playable, or at least show up.
So now I think Rosalina is becoming unlikely for now.
